kudos to you for not calling them poisonous...more useless information....
Typically, venomous snakes has slits for pupils and non-venomous has round pupils.
Typically, venomous snakes have a triangular head to accommodate the venom glands.
If I see both of those traits....it gets smashed with a shovel or I head the opposite direction.
