This coming from a snake enthusiast that can recite the coral snake rhyme of the top of my head...
Red touches yellow, kills a fellow. Red touches black, friend to Jack.
We don't even have any corals here.

Another interesting thing about the hog nosed snake is that when threatened they will "play dead".
Roll over on their back, mouth hanging open with their tongue hanging out, stink horribly etc. Flip them right side up & they'll just roll back over. :cool:

He did say "typically". Maybe it's a more accurate description of domestic snakes. I still say though that the only good snake is a snake made into a pair of boots.
