Smurfberry Questions

Has anyone grown the strain Smurfberry? If so how long did it take for them to start flowering. I have read that it is 8 weeks from Seed to harvest and it has been 3 weeks since they popped out of the ground and still no flowering.

The plants are looking great and will post pictures tonight when the lights come on. I have read that even though they are autoflowering that they don't flower unless you change the lights to 12 hours. So just curious on that as well.

Here is the link to the strain:

No they did not flower on their own. I put them into flowering last Wed. Now my question is if they are rootbound will they still flower like they should? I do not want to repot them but I can if it is really necessary. I am posting pictures of them tonight when I get home from work.

Cool I look forward to seeing them. If they are root bound it may limit their size and require more frequent watering but should be ok. I would repot for maxium yeild.
I have smurfberry and ak48 on their way. I plan on going 4 weeks on 20/4 then if they haven't flowered going to 12/12. Basically treat them as non autos. But am curious as to how tall they get as I planned on only growing autos 2ft. And under. How tall is yours? I will probally lst them.

I had to LST one of them But the others are so far no bigger than a gallon size milk jug. Now that I put them in to flowering they are stretching a little but still very controllable. This is my second grow and man I am loving this one than the first one. I still have a mother plant that is called Slyder and one plant gave me an ounce the same way I am doing these. So I am very hopeful on these 4 plants. I am good with the yield as long as I get close to an ounce a plant. With 4 plants that would last me till my next grow is done. I don't want to get them to tall due to I do not have room for side lights with my CFL's and the bottoms of the plants would not get much light.

Sagarmartha and got them from Attitude seed bank. They say they are autoflowering 8 weeks from seed to harvest but most of what I have read says they do not autoflower. I am still impressed with these plants though and the 5 I bought 4 germinated. I wish I would have gotten all 5 but now that they are in full speed growth 5 would have been pretty packed in my grow space.

Okay here are the pictures. They popped from the ground Feb 3rd and they vegged for 5 weeks. Soil is MG African Violet. I put them in to flower a week ago today. These pictures are from Monday though. The bottom of the plants are looking kind of rough. Any suggestions?

They look pretty good man, nice an bushy. The bottom leaves are probally not getting enough light and are dying. Mabye you can squeeze another cfl bulb or two inbetween the pots from the bottom for some lower light. Which one did you lst? The one with string holding it in the pic?

Yeah the one with the twine is the one i LST'ed. I didn't do it a lot because I want them all about the same height. I will have to see what I can do for the lights for down below. It is so tight in there I am not sure. Thanks for replying. I will keep this updated as well to show the growth. I will probably take pictures this weekend since they are finally starting to show the hairs now.

I am just going to keep updating this post here with pictures.

So I just decided to transplant these babies into bigger pots. Well I couldn't find the type of pots I liked so I bought four x ten liter buckets. I also bought new bulbs due to the other ones have been pretty much growing since November and from what I read they need to be changed out. I also bought a little lamp and put 2x26 watt cfl's in there as well. So as of now I have 7x40 watt cfl and 3x26 watts in there. They have been almost flowering for 2 weeks now.

Like I have said before this is an autoflower grow and they did not autoflower.

So here are the pics.

Yeah man keep it comming. I have the same seeds sittin here wating to go but I'm really curious as to the finish time and size of your grow so I know how many I can put in my area. I don't want to overcrowd them, but I will scrog or lst if I know that they will get bigger than a typical auto.
