Smoking Weed Out Of A Tobacco Pipe.

I used to be an occasional pipe smoker in my late teens so I have a few nice briar pipes. When I smoke bud with my small glass pipe I usually end up with a cherry and can take 5-6 hits without needing to light it. I knew my wood pipes could hold at least 4x more bud than my glass pipe, so I ground up some bud nice and fine and filled up one of my wood pipes.

I got a nice cherry on it, sat back and smoked it all to the end. Probably the most chill and relaxed way I have ever smoked bud. It took about 7-10 minutes to finish.

Obviously not the way to go if your a "weed conserver" but if you have bud to spare and a wood pipe laying around with a nice big chamber, give it a go.

Just as good as usual. I liked not having to use a carb, plus I got nice thick smooth hits. Weed hits even smoother for me if I mix in a little tobacco (not pipe tobacco, cigarette tobacco) But since I quit smoking cigs a couple months ago I can't do that.

Only downside would be cleaning it, the pipe would need more routine cleaning. And my few briar pipes cost $250+ each so it's a must.

It is a nice relaxing way to toke, especially in the morning while watching the news.

But like I said the only downside is the cleaning, which you would have to often. I always thought sitting down at the table and watching TV while I clean my pipes was relaxing and stress relieving all in itself. I don't know how it would be with weed resin though.

The last time I smoked out of a carbless pipe it was actually a metal pure piece, but man it had a fucking amazing cherry.

I could, I could. I don't usually buy/make hash though.

It would have lasted even longer but I smoked it pretty quick because I was running little late that morning.

If you do go the wood tobacco pipe route, make sure it has a removable stem.

Most of them do but I have 1 full wood piece, it was a bitch to clean when I smoked pipe tobacco. resin would be impossible.

lol, yah, it seems that only us american's smoke bud all by itself.. i know when i was in holland, the fist coffee shop i went in in mastricht, this french dude asked me for a smoke then proceeded to break it up and put it in his joint...
once i got into amsterdam, all of the dutch do this as well.. everyone was looking at me oddly cuz i was rolling pures as they like to call them..

Haha I'm in the east coast man. I only did it with joints though, it makes the joint burn better, slower and more evenly.

having some tabacco in it isn't as bad as it seems cause you can barely taste the tabacco. The pot overpowers it >.< . You guys ever rip up a cigarette take out some of the tabacco out and put the weed inside? Good resolution when you don't have a pipe or papers ^.^

I smoke pot in a corn cob pipe. I have never smoked cigs. Or Pipes with tobacco. How can I learn the correct way to smoke a pipe?

But I am a big bong person. I love bongs.

With bud, just grind up up and pack it into the pipe. You want to fill it to the top but you also want to have a good draw on it. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people push their fingers into the bowl while it's lit, I think it's disgusting. Buy a pipe tamper, they cost a couple dollars and will last you forever. Plus you wont end up with black shit on your fingers.

But anyway once it's packed, puff at it to get a cherry. The goal is to get a nice big cherry so you can sit back and not have to keep lighting it while you're smoking.
