I read an article like that as well.....
Typically, MMJ is supposed to help counteract the rapid spread cancers?

If you read carefully it says that exposure to pesticides and hormones has links to the specific tumors.
More of a reason to ensure you are not smoking novice grown, pesticide saturated herb.
Go Organics and Veganics

I wonder how controlled these tests actually were...

Compared with never use, ever use of marijuana had a 2-fold increased risk (OR, 1.94; 95% CI, 1.02-3.68), whereas ever use of cocaine had a negative association with TGCT (OR, 0.54; 95% CI, 0.32-0.91). Stratification on tumor histology revealed a specific association of marijuana use with nonseminoma and mixed histology tumors (OR, 2.42; 95% CI, 1.08-5.42).

and for those that read the abstract the simple conclusion would be to smoke a few coco puff joints a year and your risk is nil.

Wow; now the American Cancer Society is part of the drug war statistic.

i don't buy this.. why would people use simpson oil and other like things to cure cancer if the use of cannabis caused cancer??

i had always thought that cannabis in fact didn't allow cancer cells to multiply, therefore being great for cancer..

sounds to me like some more anti marijuana propaganda that has no basis in reality or science..

from a male smokers perspective, this is the one thing that if true would scare a lot of people. why is the pubpic so fucking retarded. correlation does not mean causation. also this was a very small study amd it di not show any increased risk just a high correlation. bullshit.

Reefer Madness still exists today . . . shameful at the very least to release bad/false information to the public. At least there are those "fish" that are now moving against the current in greater numbers than ever. Education has been the key over the years & still the evidence just does not add up against this easy to use natural product.

This same story comes out every year or two.
Total false propaganda.
Think about it, how many people on the forums have testicular cancer???

Did anybody catch the part where it read that 80% of the 163 men with cancer had admitted to smoking and only 70% of the 300 non cancer men admitted. How in fact does that turn into marijuana causing ball cancer. Just looks like a statistical ploy to me.

Someone probably took statistics.

Not by choice, lol. But really, all that data shows is that a lot of folks toke it up, cancer or not. It has zero relevance on marijuna causing cancer.
Yeah actually all the entire article is based on is the 10% difference between those who had cancer and those who did not. This ten percent difference is the basis for the original statement of the article. Another bullshit propaganda article that is predicated on and uneducated public.
