Hello,

tried Search and not success w/ my search about using smoking filter, i'm pretty sure there is a topic about this somewhere, but really coudn't find


about Smoking Filters, do you guys use it? does it really help on "health" care? Does it lower the THC/cbd/whatever from the smoke?

i'm smoking w/ filters, and they become very brown after use, my friends say it's gay but whatever... really want to know if it lower the cannabinoids on the filter?

just rip a small piece of plastic or something and stock it in the end of the joint. free, and doesn't catch any oils.

Of course the filter traps some THC along with every other burned or partially burned hydrocarbon passing through it. Try a vape instead. Or use a bong.

Hey, well this may not help but a freind of mine used to smoke his joints with filters, and i
Smoke rollups with them, but i found i wouldnt get a big enough hit,or draw offa the doobie, also he rolls with bacci in the doobie, and it dose go very brown, so i guess it would just come down to preference. Put it this way if the filter catches the brown muck its not going into your lungs, so i guess it is 'healthier', but i wouldnt know about catching the cannabnoids, guess it would catch some but if you still get high then why not.. Sorry if im not much help,, take it easy.

Bigbull,, i'm not fan of plastic

hotrodharley, i have a bong, and i use it sometimes, but i'm really curious about the joints, nice to know they hold the THC.

bunnyface, "if you still get high why not", i think that's the point, and you said it all, thanks!


Since i'm still smoking brick weed from bad quality because cant grow my own yet, i'll keep the filters!

Bakatere, never tried edibles because I only get bricks from bad quality, i'm afraid of god know what have inside it, better wash and smoke i think

i know they aren't really filters but...i use elements paper rolling tips...imo they are the best of both worlds..keep herb out your mouth and don't leech any thc...

well I didn't necesarilly mean plastic but theres lots of material in your house you can just roll up in the tip of your joint. can even use thicker paper, just put the roach out before you smoke it.

Go watch wiz khalifa roll a joint on youtube.com he'll show you how to make the filter too, use a small piece of buisness card material....just watch the vid, good pointers for beginners. Yes you are losing THC but it also reduces resin build up in the lungs with cigarette filters

^^ This is what I was refering too.

No need to go buy any specific 15$ filter material when you got common house hold items that will suffice for your purpose.

The business card to one of the head shops by me are all perforated to rip off filters for joints, pretty neat idea for a head shop business card.

grab your J-O-B (or your personal Preference) pack of papers

Break up your weed

Take out 1 rolling paper

Grab your Pack of J-O-B's. Tear a piece off to your personal preference of how long of a "filter" you want, round norcal we call it a crutch, and tear up about 1/2 an inch. Roll this piece of the pack up like a little joint and place it at the end of your joint that your gonna put your lips on and viola
