I see what you mean on the crystal; a lot taller than the widow. She is perfect for starting the bend right now since the main stalk dosnt have any long branches yet and the bottom is filling out nicely. That Widow looks nice and plump. =)

I also recomend a very lite trimming to expose lower budding sites, check out this before and after. "Can you see what was stuck in the shadow of the leaf in the above picture? Not any more! Notice the lighter shade of green the shaded leaves and bud site have. That's from lack of direct light. This should darken up and fatten up now that it has access to more light. " Dont trim to much your light has plenty of penetration.

Yeah I wanted to trim a lil to get more light to the bud points but I'm always scared to start cutting at my babies...What if I spread the side shoots out and tie them down with string so that there all getting direct light??Since I was only left with 2 plants I got a descent amount of room horizontally to do so....On that leaning thing do you have any before and after pics for that??If not I'll try to find some pics so I can get a better idea of the whole thing....I think my ownly problem is figuring out which way I want to bend it without it shading any of the other branches b/c I figure itll take a few days to get the top all the way down even with the other branches..thanks for your help 420

Hey everybody here are some pics of the training I just started...Does this look alright 420Guy???this is the first day and I plan to bend it down until its even with the lower branches as you recommended..Just making sure I'm on the right track.

Looks good, SUP. you can gradually bend it to any position you need to maximize light penetration......you should be able to get the light closer to the majority of your buds....this will enhance yield.....

Alright so its a day shy of 2weeks flower and this is what they look like...the trained one is the crystal, and the other is the white widow....by the way how does the crystal look?? I think a few more inches and it will be level with the rest of the lower branches. The fan leaves on this plant(as you may see in the pictures) are yellowing quit a bit..My first thoughts were nitrogen def. but I've been feeding with the grow big and now that I'm flowering the tiger bloom and big bloom..I even tried giving it a little of the grow big to help but its still yellowing..any thoughts appreciated...the white widow looks fine its finally starting to take off and grow nice and robust...It used to be so scrawny...the seed company said they stay pretty low which is nice...perfect for my height restrictions and this training thing is working out great too because now the two plants are closer to the same hieght..before the WW probably would have had light issues in the long run(being about 7in shorter than the crystal)Sorry if I'm rambling my dealer got a new batch and its pretty fucking awesome..anywho check out the pics let me know what ya think..........

You might want to consider a quick foliar feed with a little stronger dilution of your nitrogen nutes than used with soil, assuming your humidity is low enough; your buds are not likely to be hurt at all by this, as they are still quite young.
You should be able to green-up the plant a little pretty quickly.

The bending looks good….I’ve found little loops of cut pantyhose to work real well to hold stems and branches in place…it stretches and you don’t have to worry about tying too tight as the plants bulk up. I use 50lb and higher mono fishing line to tie to pantyhose and hold branches or stems in position.

well I havent watered them in a few days so I'm going to water today and give them a higher dose of nitrogen...I sprayed them lightly with a foliar feed too....It doesnt seem to be doing to bad just the fan leaves are turning kind of yellow...I dont think the buds will be hurt by this spraying either wavels as I'm not even sure I have enough to fuck up yet *lol* but I still did it carefully to make sure...well thats about it the white widow is doing fine I'm about to go water it once the crystal has drained fully and hopefully the crystal will pick up and be all right..I'll keep ya posted and maybe throw in a few pics

Hey smoke lookin GOOD
Havent been on with the holidays and all; so I missed your Question.
But the answer would have been Yes

I can allready see the bottom colas are doing great; you should get a killer yeild off those plants man! And the Widow is THICK shes gonna be dense.

As for the yelowing leafs; it could be she needs more ferts. With your light levels they may just not be able to use it all. If it is just a few of the leafs are that way though; I'd just remove them. This will raise production elsewhere and green up the rest.

Remember their WEEDs. =)

Hey everybody, thanks for the replys everyone...haha you like that AMNP?? the breakfast of champions am I right?? Anywhos, here are some pics for everyone...these are 17 days flower, I tried getting some pics that showed some bud sites developing and what not but I don't know if these are the greatest..but hey at least you get to see them right?? On the top view of the crystal you can see the leaves that are turning yellow..its mainly the lower ones, the ones closer to the top are still alright so I dont know if it is light depervasion from before or what...I've been feeding pretty well I thought, using 1/4 strength but I'm using multiple fert such as big bloom and tiger bloom so 1/4 strength on both of those plus sometimes 1/4 strength of the grow big for added nitrogen..all that mixed seems like it should be a potent feed but maybe it does need more...the WW is stretching a little more as you might be able to tell..I'm trying to decide if I should bend it like the crystal or if I should leave it 1. to compare a trained plant to a non-trained one and 2. the WW appears to be forming a nice little top cola and the buds around it dont seem to be lagging or anything like that...well here they are tell me what you think.....Alright for almost 3weeks into flower????

Why are the tips of the leafs on my plants turning yellow and curling down? I am using florescent light and the light is right on top of them. They started off so good and now this, whats up, anyone know?

Alright guys I think I need to do an emergency transplant...what I thought was a nute def. I am now beginning to think it is root bound....I know there may be some shock here but I think it'll recover and produce more than if I would have kept it in the smaller pot(10in pot by the way I think thats 2.5-3 gallons or so)I think the leaves are dying off because it doesnt have enough space root wise to sustain healthy bud growth AND fan leaves...the WW is all green except for some bottom leaves I accidently splashed with some nute water but its also a smaller plant and its in a 14in pot(4.5g or so)...so what do you guys think???Whos going to walk me through this*haha*...since I have the crystal all tied up whats the best way to do it???If I untied it would it keep it shape since its been that way for a while and I could just pop it out this pot and put it in the other 14in pot I have??...thanks for the help in advance

Just saw the post; did you get it done allready?

Transplanting is pretty stright forward just try to do minimal damage to the roots.

If only the really big leafs are still doing it just let them drop or cut them off.

I havent transplanted yet in hopes that the higher doses of nutes would help but it hasnt yet......its not just the big fan leaves its also the lower leaves on the branches too it seems like its slowly working its way up..its UNSTOPPABLE!!! haha but seriously thats the way it seems right now....I think its going to be at the top of the plant soon the way its been going...do you think a transplant would even help or should I just give it a huge dose of N to see if itll stop..because all the signs seem to be pointing to an N def.

How does the new growth look on plant? Is the problem only on old sun leaves or do you notice the newest leaves showing problems?

there isnt much growth happening anymore..just buds fattening and hairs shooting out everywhere...the little leaves in the buds that pop out every once in a while are okay looking...basically the tops of the branches have this cola look...like all the budding is focusing on the top part of the plants branches the lower leaves and branch nodes dont have much budding going on..I'll try to get pics up tomorrow as my plants are in dark time now..but the top few inches of the branches are budding if you can imagine that...the lower area doesnt have much going on..It kinda sounds like light depravation but the white widow is the same height and its budding VERY nicely

I think I'm gonna have to lean back to natural causes. Sounds to me like the plant is going into its "FALL Season" stage and is just a leaf dropper. Many strains will do this as they approch the end of their life cycle; kinda like the way trees change color and drop their leafs in Fall. If its budding nice then I would say just let them yellow. Dont cut them off just yet because even though they are yellow they are still working just not as hard. As for light deficancy I would suspect the opisite; the have plenty of light and she cant use it all.

I agree, good advice 420 Guy.

just buds fattening and hairs shooting out everywhere
*lol*
If your buds are getting fatter, looks like you should not worry about what happens with the older leaves.......As 420 said above leave them on 'till it looks like they can't do anymore "work" for the production of fat buds!

Yeah I mean it doesnt seem to be affecting the budding much...I can tell the buds are getting fatter and evrything...thats what I was kind of wondering/thinking 420Guy on the "going into fall season stage" I was kinda thinking maybe it going into the dying stage or whatever to soon...but I dont know how you would reverse it...I mite still foliar feed a lil with the N fert as I think that help slow the yellowing down a bit..I havent seen it creep up as fast or on some parts at all..also on the webste I got the seeds it says that the crystal had a low leaf to bud ratio....I was wondering if theirs any strains known to produce alota leaves in the Veg stage and then when it buds drops them??...and if so I wonder if this is one of those strains?? IDK but I just hope she can last til the end I got about 4 more weeks til its 8weeks
