Sou ds alot like me. I was digging holes at 10 and never stopped til I shattered my lower spine.
Always been a jandy fan. Pentair as well. I hear ya on the expos. And the winter shutdown. I worked 8 months and had mid Nov til mid March off. On top of residential I did alot of commercial work. Openings closing, repairs and installs. NE as well. Yeah, Hayward went to absolute crap 15 years ago. I couldn't stand their reps at the trade shows. They were pretentious holes. My favorite peeps were the loop loc reps, jandy and American leak detection crew. The Polaris reps were a blast at the after parties
Haha sounds like we had the same reps. :-D

Some good news on the digging front. If I can get it in my yard, I have access to a terramite. If this works the whole pool thing g changes. Si ce I ordered a j hook track, I'm going to dig down 3' and make a deep end shaped just like an inground. I'll draw up an ingrou d liner and have it made. And install a bottom drain. Trough the floor with a verm concrete mix N That will give me an above ground with and inhround depth....without the extra taxes and insurance.
I'll find out tomorrow when I try to ram it through the woods and then my fence.

Been too hot out to play pool guy. I took down some branches today and said it's enough. I got screwed on the loader so I'll be the shovel guy lol. Got bored and bought a yard bob so I guess that's cool. I know my kid and her friends had fun towing each other behind their bikes lol. So it's just a pot smoking play with the ferrets day. Might just stay in the shed ac and build a hinged work table. Sounds better than sweatin.
