so I think I figured out something about el diablo (senor). It's a short flowering plant. I know, this doesn't seem to make a whole lot of since because the trichs don't really turn all that amber before 8 weeks but...... I did some research and found about something called the Rodelization method. It's based on the fact that if a female is flowered too long it will produce male bananas (caused by stress as a last resource to pass it's "genes" on) which causes it to basically pollinate itself, causing feminized seeds. That's why our male flowers don't show up until the very end of the grow and the seeds end up being under developed and small.

Check this out it explains some of it...... http://hightimes.com/grow/soma/622

OK, an update. but no outdoors yet... the rain has been good lately so no need to visit them. so I offer you some of my indoor... :hump:

1. this lady was topped another 8 times before the photo was taken.
2. this is my clone on roids, which has been growing like crazy since I put her in the bucket.
3. unnamed, unimportant clone #2.
4. unnamed, unimportant clone #3.
5. part of my latest CFL harvest.
6. my girlfriend and I stopped at this huge field of sunflowers on the way back from the South Mountains today.

That pic is pretty damn neat man. Good shot.
thanks man. :peace:

only problems I seem to be having with my CFL grow is the heat, which was expected. I have them in a small closet with poor ventilation, with temps pushing the mid to high 80s consistently during the day. there's really not shit I can do, until my landlord is finished doing repairs on other areas of the house. my leaves have taco-itis and are a little crispy from the heat and low humidity.

yep. all done, and curing as we speak. these are only getting fed by what's in the MG soil. it is hot as fuck in that closet, so I'm suprised they're doing as well as they are.

yea they def use a lot of ammonia nitrate which I hate, but the soil was free so I'm using it. seems to be doing pretty good as of now. I will def buy better soil once I get a grow-op established. all of this hoop-la is just hobby growing. :peace:

I think I may flower these ladies outdoors. I'm having privacy issues, and really can't risk someone walking into my little closet. I will continue to veg them here until I find a good spot to finish though. I still can't get over how fast the clone in the white bucket has grown. it's fucking nuts. anyways, couldnt help but take some more pics.
