Smelly plant help.

Ok I have about a 9x9 grow room and 18 plants 9 are about a month into flowering and I'm about to put the others into flowering too so I'm starting to get concerned about smell so half my plants are in a tent and the others are outside the tent in the same room how could I set up carbon filters to take care of this problem? Or anything actually to keep the smell from going outside and inside my house cause my grow room is under my front porch in the basement so I gotta be super careful

So carbon filter the tent and ona gel for outside plants?
Use your dryer vent to exhaust the entire basement via carbon filter/ona gel. The other advantage to dryer vents is their appearance on heat signatures, looks like you're simply drying clothes as opposed to venting grow op heat.

Could I just carbon filter the whole room outside and have ona in the room I have access from my grow room but ima need 100% smell gone cause you walk over top of my grow room before you even come in my house so you would smell even the slightest bit

I would go carbon also. There are a lot of precautions you need to take with ozone, and it can be a health issue if you do it wrong. With that said I have one and the thing does do an amazing job. However I just use it for a very short time outside my room if there is a knock on my door.

I would love to have one on standby but ozone will tear the hell out of your lungs. Plus, it eats rubber and I believe it would also degrade buds if you used it in a drying room.

I like that idea of door knock, turn on though

Ona gel is fucking amazing one quart only is all i need it makes my whole basement smell good with the grow room door closed thanks for the advice guys took care if my problem

I found ONA great at first, but went through way more then I thought I would. That shit really added up! glad I invested in the filter.

This is the age of the Carbon Filter yo, take advantage of the technology. Be grateful you don't have to put power strips full of glade pluggins all around your house lol (pre carbon filter era)

Make your own ona gel. with these ingredients.

RO water (tap water will do)
Water gel crystals - The same stuff as Ona is found on ebay.
Essential oils - For smell, there are thousands to choose from, its what Ona gel uses.
Polysorbate 20 - To emulsify the oil and water.

Looks like Ona but at a fraction of the price. Smells as strong but you can create your own blends. :peace:

Ona gel is never a replacement for a C.Filter ...... Its strictly 'post' filtered odor control. A belt and braces approach.

Thanks for that, man.I will give it a go, the one thing I loved the ona for was the fact that it helped with the litter box area, three cats make a lot of shit!

You'll appreciate the essential oils then.

They can be used all round the house, from baths to home-made air-fresheners to Ona mix. ... also works great for freshening-up potpourri and the like.

ebay has some good multi-bottle deals.

I used Ona for a while and loved it. then 2 weeks later it was no longer working what so ever. Tried it one more time and had the same results. I was buying the little block of it. I even stabbed some holes in it and scraped it up. that would get me a day or two but thats it.
