smell problems

ok i have a plant in a locker in my room and it smells bad in here now and my parents dont know about it so what can i do for smell? i already have a computer fan blowing air out so if there anything i can put in there to absorb odor? and can i make like a filter with charcoal and dryer sheets or something for around the fan??

or, you could try waiting until you move out of your parents house so that way you aren't putting them at risk by doing something illegal in their house without their knowledge.

get a small box of baking soda...put it in your room with the top open....the baking soda absorbs everything....change it every 2 weeks or so its very cheap

I just saw a thread on here that can give you instructions on how to make a charcoal filter for less than $30......Or use baking soda if your on a shoe string budget.

Hi kev152 - please let us know if baking soda takes care of your problem.

if it doesn't - there are some great DIY odor control ideas on this site. One real simple and cheap idea is kitty litter mixed with pine-sol:

Honestly, I've never tried any of these solutions, but I'd be interested in knowing how they work.

Works very very well in small spaces. You can also order it from growing sites in like 1gal tubs for larger areas. That link i gave you is my own idea

ok well i just planted a new seed today ( plant was male:[ ) and i already have a filter i made to go around the fan it is rolled up cardboard stuffed with dryer sheets and has a dryer sheets full of charcoal at the end so the air goes through it and this locker is in a closet in my room so i will get some baking soda boxes in the closets and some air fresheners in my room that should cover it up quite nice i think
