I think there is a link missing... right? This is the one I have.

I haven't had enough "liked" posts to be able post a link yet. Mine was a corona discharge one and was pretty powerful. I ran my exhaust from my lights which was two 4" ducts into a large storage tote ( had cut holes to mount and seal the elbow pieces I used ) and then out into a 6 inch duct from the tube. Don't know the math but seemed like the single 6 inch allowed just a hair more air flow than the two 4's. I had a 20' or 25' 6 inch duct for the exhaust that I ran into a basement / garage area.I once had an ozon generator.
Didn't solve the problem.
Pehaps it wasn't good enough.
Do you guys have a link to the ozone generators you used?
Corona discharge is not a brand, is it?Mine was a corona discharge one
You just reminded me of a little story.Well... What if the power company wants to change the meter or you need propane delivered. Always control odor if growing where it is illegal to do so.
Humidity? Trying to wrap my head around why vented air would cause that. Not something I'd have ever considered.Yes very important to get the air out of the house with a carbon filter of course, an old friend years ago, decided just to let the air go from his grow room to his attic, result after 5 years was a new roof and roof supports due to rot and mold...
Attic is supposed to be a cold space. Venting hot humid air up there causes condensation and mold.Humidity? Trying to wrap my head around why vented air would cause that. Not something I'd have ever considered.
Oh yeah. That's a bad idea, especially in the winter. I've heard of people's ceilings collapsing under a heavy layer of wet moldy muck!Attic is supposed to be a cold space. Venting hot humid air up there causes condensation and mold.
Thank you! I can now post links . Sorry for not having answered but it sounds like you answered your question via google. Yes corona discharge is a type. I've tried to look for where I got it but I can't find it. It was nothing fancy. Mine was basically a silver aluminum box with a small lightening storm going on inside. Mine was similar to this https://www.horticulturesource.com/uvonair-8-cd-in-line-duct-ozonator-corona-discharge-p20196?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI98zChPae4gIVh5-zCh3U8AECEAkYCyABEgJ8nfD_BwE minus being ready to be connected to a duct.Corona discharge is not a brand, is it?
I googled it and it looks more like a type of machine/device.
I will like some of your posts. But it does not mean I agree with everything you say. Just helping you out.
SorryI think there is a link missing... right?
You do need to have enough duct after it for the ozone to mix. I think 15 feet is the recommended length.I had one from Uvonair. Not the one with the UV-light, but with a Corona Discharger.
It did not work good.
Smell passed (Cheese) and the neighbours informed the cops.
Perhaps it wasn't big enough.
May I ask how big your room is and the amount of lights?
