smell goes away?

I harvested a part of my plant and its been drying for 3 days now and its loosing its potent smell of dankness and starting to smell like grassy or my lawn how do you usually get that weed smell back? thru curing?

Yep, it's normal. After it's fully dried and begun to cure, the smell begins to come back. The longer it cures, the better she'll smell/taste.

Yes indeed. The smell usually starts around 2 weeks curing, and gets better with each day after that.

damn 2 weeks.. if the bud starts to get a little dir should i remoisten with papertowel and a lil drop of water on it?

For this reason, it's best to save a few pieces of fresh stem - if your bud begins to overdry, just put the stem in the jar with it, and it should remoisten it.
