Waste of money...Androids can do everything better and are cheaper. You aren't stuck with Apple bullshit either. You have complete freedom to do as you please. Not to mention the Iphone 4 has tons of issues at the moment and doesn't even support 4g despite what some people think. It will probably be out of date in a year because that is how Apple likes to roll.

There are loads of phones out, nokia do loads, so do samsung like the e1080, and they cost like £15 a unit. It's really not very hard in any way whatsoever to find one that is not a smart phone.... really. You won't find em under contract phones, but you will find plenty under pay as you go, then simply swap the simcard out for a contract card that has the frills that you desire.
Is the thread about her service provider or whether normal phones exist? If her provider won't supply a normal phone then ditch them, there are lots of other companies out there, or alternatively buy a new phone, there are plenty out there. In the UK every phone has a sim card so you can just as you wish, i'm asking for a w850i for christmas so i can get rid of this POS HTC handset
