Small space opinions wanted

My main flowering area is 3x7, lit by assorted cobs and boards.


I also have a spot in the same room with a 3x2 table that I am thinking of using.

I have run ebb flow and a RDWC system in the past, now I run organic in 5 gallon pots and SIPs.
I am buying this light to go over the table:

I can’t decide what type of grow to do on the table. I’d like to grow smaller plants with little veg time.
Any suggestions would appreciated. Smaller plants, more plants, on a table with a 260 watt board. I guess I could use soil and smaller 1 or 2 gallon pots, or flood and drain with small pots of hyroton or coco...

I just ordered the light. I guess a flood and drain system with pots and hydroton would be the way to go here. Was hoping for some feedback

f+d gets my vote. stuff a good sized res under the table, drill a couple holes, hang light, done. maybe put a couple hooks in the wall to hang trellis from. keep a couple bigger net pots on hand in case you ever feel like running a couple bigger plants

try something like a flooded tube/NFT system. you could probably get 3 rails on that table

That is how I am leaning. I can build one myself. Done it before, so it's easily doable.

I think I was just looking at those on Amazon. Something like this?

yeah, exactly, if you are a diy'er, get some gutters from lowes and go for it. the tube system needs a space underneath anyway. and they are perfect for short veg times

indeed. easily done, and easily maintained
i like rail systems too, but in a space this small, i would go with the flood table for versatility of plant positioning and simplicity of operation. not much to go wrong with a flood table, rails/gutters have more places to leak from
