Small SIP pots SOG

Has anybody out there ran a SOG using small SIP pots?
I could fit nine 4 gallon square SIP pots in my 3x3 tent. I've been running four 5 gallon pots which pretty much fills up the tent so nine plants would be too many unless I SOG 'em. Has anybody tried this? I see lots of large SIP pot grows but not too much on small SIP pots.

People do it with hempy pots which can be even smaller I think, like 2 gallons.

@Smscreations runs smaller sips I believe in his cabinet. He has a thread documenting them. He doesn't run SOG, but I see no reason you couldn't as long as you can reach them to keep em filled up and they don't need removed to be cleaned and such through the process. Also, keep in mind, to run SOG, you'll want to start with clones of a known strain so they stay uniform throughout the grow. A runaway or two can really foul things up.

I ran 3- 5 gallon totes in right about half the space you're in and it got dense in there. I used 8 top manifolds on each plant to really max out my space. Like @TCH said, as long as you can get to everything comfortably for maintenance it should be doable.
