So I've had my baby for about a month and a half since its first sprout. It is only about 4-5 in tall and its 3rd set of leave is coming in. From what I've been reading my plant seems pretty dinky. I am curently using a sunlight florescent lamp. Is my plant normal?

What Was That
well as long as it is green and strong. I would stick to it. or if it is in a pot it has over grown you may need to move it to a bigger one. hope this helps. any more questions feel free to ask

The pot is on the small side, but there is no way it has outgrown it yet lol. maybe i should put it in a bigger pot, but then i cant fit it into my grow space. hmmmm...I'm stumped.

you prob dont have enough light, or your using old or bad soil.

what all do you have in your grow place? type of light, soil, ph if any? how far is the light from your plant? got fans blowing around? temps?

no,,,,,,,Here is what you should do,, bury the stem up to the first growth (leaf) then drop your light to within 1 and a half inches from the top of the plant,,,,,,,,,,,,only water once every 3 to 4 days when soil is much more dryed out....... always check your ph levels, should be 6-7.... good luck you should be fine... oh,, and you need a fan for air movement........:peace:.........

I only water it once a week, thanks for the tip. Im a bit too careful with watering becuz my last plant died I think becuz I over watered it.

Also Im away on weekends, so im unable to turn my light on, so i leave on friday, its off on saturday, then i turn it on sunday night. Is that extremely bad? Or is it just not that good? Or could it be the reason for my problem?

Hermie?

And one problem, I cant leave it on because I'm growing it in secret, and if someone sees the light when im gone, bad things will happen. Ive already covered the light to my best potential.

gutter - giving your plant inconsistant amounts of weak light will make it very very hard to produce buds, or for that matter, a healthy plant. your plant is 5 inches high with only 3 sets of leaves, and the stem is probably very thin right? my guess is that you are not getting the plant enough light. in order to maintain a healthy plant, you MUST keep your lighting schedule consistant. try your best to give the plant 18 hours of light per day. since you're only using one small bulb, it should not be difficult to hide. a simple solution would be to purchase an inexpensive timer, that can turn your light on and off for you while you're away. and plants LOVE fresh air. in fact, they thrive on it. if you can, come up with a simple house fan to circulate the air around the plant. this should improve your setup. good luck bro!

I let fresh air hit the hiding place like 5-10 times a day, so thats not a problem. As for the light I guess im gonna put 24/7 cept for saturday, and work on sealing the cracks of the spot.
