Small Herb Garden

Hi there. I love gardening but I dont have much space so I always have to be small-minded about it.

So I had this pot sitting in my kitchen with some culinary herbs, rosemary, oregano, basil, etc... But I was away for a long time and no one really paid much attention to it. My goal is to bring it new life but its not looking good for them.
Atm I have 4 little plants there, rosemary, oregano, basil and another kind of basil that is smaller but smells really good. Problem is the leaves in most of them are dying off, Im sure most of the reason why is lack of water but may there be some other reasons?

The stems in some plants were really weak so I had to tie them up gently to some chopsticks.

Also, what should I do about the grey leaves? Should I just cut them off?

Yeah and thats about it, Im gonna post some pictures here but be reminded that this is really just for the lolz, but hell, its worth the try. :p

Thanks, any tips and tricks are very welcome!

Thanks for the info! Im going to look into that. But my problem isnt really dark green/reddish leaves but rather really dry grey leaves. Should I cut these off? And what caused these? Lack of water?
