small dresser grow CFL's

Dresser has 32" height, 28" width, only 15 inches from front to back =(
Will two plants be ok. I imagine I'll have to LST them. 4-6 23 watt CFL's.
It's bigger than a computer stealth. I will flower in this space as well.
Any thoughts, advise?

It would be fine. People, as you said, use computer cases that are about half that size for 1-2 plants. You will want to start them in opposite corners and run them along their walls, using a scrog. One plant or two will probably have similar yield as you will just use more or less of the space.

If you are good with some basic tools, you could fit some t5s in that space and have great lumens.

There is one that would seemingly fit without modification, and your looking at around 10,000 lumens. Very nice

awesome thanks! I'll see if I can get the t5's later on. I'm only on day 4 of veg so they're under a lamp shade for now. Would you keep t5's on for flowering too? Not sure if they have different light spectrums I could switch. to. This is gonna be a low budget grow. I'll get pix going once I figure out the fans/vents. I almost threw this dresser away. Go green! I hope these plants end up as pretty as you =)

Lets see your grow box setup, do you have the fans needed? Make sure you keep an eye on the temps, my little cfl cab(slightly smaller than yours) got up to about 136 with no fans. Now i have one smallish intake and one small computer fan, it has a negative pressure and keeps the room at 80-85 max. Just a small 9$ 12v fan (80mm) powered with 9v 500mah power cord, absolutely silent. IMG_0343.jpgIMG_0341.jpg

ah and btw, the t5s have different bulbs for different uses. So you can buy your 6500k bulbs for veg and 2700k for flowering. It would be a pretty beastly dresser grow for sure.

There are some more choices

It seems with regular t5 lights you will get about 8000 lumens in that setup. giving you about 2800 lumens per sq/ft which isnt bad at all. If you were to fill in the spaces around the light(or even do side lighting) you could net the magical 5000+ lumens per sq/ft, but your fine with the cfls you have i am sure.

It'll take me some time but I like the direction you're takin me with the t5's. I think I'll make my own shield/reflector with as many rows of t5's I can fit. It'll be cheeper I believe and custom fit sick! I have A LOT of research to do. Heat shouldn't be a problem with t5's I hope.

I had a whole room with 12 vegging 12 budding b4. Ogar, OG, Headband and some Diesel. Had two 1000 and two 400's. CO2, AC and scrubber. I'm going way smaller and way cheaper this time. No stress and I can have people over! Different ball game this time. Good vibes for females! Thanks again youve been very helpful!

Oh, what do you think about sparkling water use? I can't f'n wait to get this goin

So far just day 4 of veg under lamp and I got the dresser drawers out haha Gotta knock all this out and start gettin it light proof. Im thinkin of using the wood shelves remaining to make a door if possible. I hate waste. I wont worry about the door as much till im close to flower. I'll get some pics of the process. Maybe it'll help you or someone else out. Not too much too it though. (i hope)
