Small country, small space, small budget.. BIG dreams =)

Let me start by saying hello and humbly invite you to follow and support my "learn to grow" adventures.

Friendly regards are coming from a small country in the middle of EU called Slovenia, and I bet most of you don't even know where it is, but it really doesn't matter.. =) I would put myself somewhere between recreational and medical smoker, as I did have really bad headaches before smoking, but than again.. I just love smoking it for its creative spark (I am a designer), to fall asleep faster, or just to get high on lazy sunny afternoon.. Yes, you can call me a classic pothead for the last 15 years..

Living here in Slovenia, I am bit fed up with paying 6-8 € for a gram of average local smoke, as I would easily smoke 5g/day, if I could afford it. So I've decided to rather invest in some equipment and try to grow my own. Besides saving some money, I also dream about designing my own new strains and discovering/inventing different grow setups and techniques.. I just love DIY projects and brainstorming =) But first things first.. I've decided to start things small and cheap, and than scale it up as needed.. At the end of the journey, I would like to produce somewhere around 400-600 g of high quality buds per crop, so my smoking needs of min. 5g/day are covered..

That much said.. I've already soaked 10-15 random seeds that I had, and they are sprouting right now as I type this.. I have also found a place for 3 cabinets/boxes measuring approx. 1,20 m x 0,80 m and 1,10 m high. I've done some research, and I think I'll start with one box filled with many small CFLs and 4 plants. Two of them in soil and two in some kind of DIY DWC.

I guess this is the end of my first board post and an invite to my new one in Indoor Growing.

Where are u from? Austria, Italy, Croatia? Anyway, hi and thank you for dropping by!

I am smoking 10-15 years now, but yesterday was a special day in my records. It's was my first time trying to grow some weed on purpose! For starters I've made a sprouting chamber out of an old aquarium/fish tank. It was a nice fun DIY project and I'll post some pics from the build very soon. I've also start my journal here on rolitup , so I share this important day for me and all the following adventures with you guys!

Thank you vostok, but I don't understand a word of russian language, at least not written.. And we have quiet a lot of good seed shops in our country also, the nearest is lets say around 2 km/1,2 miles away..

I have one noobie question about RIU forum. How do I edit previously written posts or even delete them if I wish? I can't find the fckn button! I would just like to delete the country info in my first post.. Second thoughts privacy wise etc.. =)
