small closet venilation concerns

Hello RIU i have been scowering the grow room for quite a while now and have finally decided to jump off the deep end. i have searched for quite a while, although i am heavily 'medicated' :bigjoint: and cant find the exact answer im looking for, so please bare with me.

i live in an apartment building, top floor, with one roomate. i am in the midst of building my grow box and its dimensions when completed will be 3'x3.5'x 6 feet tall. Im going to be growing in soil (soiless promix) with a 400 watt hps bulb i will be using throughout veg and flower. i need to be as stealth as possible throughout the entire grow.

my question lies within the ventilation aspects of my box. Since stealth is key, i have built a diy carbon filter that i will attach to my ducting and will be placed inside my room, pulling air through the filter with a 6" inline fan. My problem is i dont know where i should send the hot air coming out of my room to. will it be alright if the fan blows air right out into the closet after being filtered? i plan to leave the door open to the closet for most of the day, but it needs to be able to be closed if maintenance comes over or if i have familly over (unlikely). the nearest window to where the box will be is across my bedroom, and having 6" ducts running across my room isnt an option. With it set up this way, im afraid the hot air that gets exhaled will be drawn up through the passive intake on the bottom of my box, which would be disastrous!!!

If you have any questions or comments please feel free to leave them, im always willing to learn and chnge my strategies as best as possible. Thank you in advance.

i have a 2' x 4' x 5' tall grow with intake on the bottom and the back with exhaust on the top. my filter sits right on top and blows into my room. my AC keeps the house cool if it starts heating up. to me doesnt really matter where the exhaust dumps. i dont think your intake at the bottom is going to suck the hot air from the top 6 feet up. you SHOULD be ok. set it up without plants in it and monitor your temps. try and keep it near 80F

My space is roughly the same size. And my door is slotted. I have it mostly light proof but i need to figure how to route my fan to blow out air and cant seem to come up with a solution. Any help. I have a 300 cfm duct fan and a non air cool hood. Temps rang from 87 to 90s
