I am in the process of building a small cfl grow using an old dresser. I want to incorporate an area for veg and flower. Any ideas on ventilating this? Intake? Exhaust?
Smell is not a huge issue but I want my girls to be healthy and comfortable. Any advice from my fellow green thumbs would be greatly appreciated.
Much love.!

My first grow I used a gutted freezer, sealed it and used it from baby to harvest. Your grow would be similar really except you have the added benefit of having both veg and flower... However venting wouldn't be all that different. Just a simple cheap bathroom "fart fan" should cut it. Maybe one for each side to simplify things and increase flow. But you can get a 50cfm for like $15.... and even if smell isn't a huge issue and you want some smell control run exhaust tube to a little bucket filled w some charcoal and drilled out. When mine had some odor I just sat bucket (who's vent holes where only on bottom and the duct ran in the top) over top of a pan of pinesol and covered things up just dandy....

Thanks for the reply huckster!!!!
So I shouldn't worry about running any ventilation BETWEEN the two growing areas???? Just ventilate them seperately?

Yea I wouldn't- you could of it adequately cooled em and such. I guess I like idea if you had issues with one side if they are quite sealed off from other you wouldn't be guaranteed to share same issue with the other... Also less chance of light leak from veg into flower during flowers dark time if they are kept seperate...

Not saying they can't b combined but I think for the simplicity two $15 fans would be my choice...
