Small Buds

Hi folks, this is my first outdoor grow, 6 plants 6 weeks into flowering, 6 about 4 weeks in.

To me it seems that most of the buds are a bit on the small side, considering they will shrink about 2/3 once dry.. Also, there seems to be a lot of space on the plant where buds just aren't growing... Have I got an issue I should address here...

wow, thats amazing scene, your plants look super healthy , if they are sativas yeah you'll wait longer, but keep up the good work, so you got 12 plants , jesus , though i wished you planted in the ground not pots, they would have been triple the size and yield probably , cheerz

Yeah, pots make it easier to shift the plants around. I had them in a different area of the garden which gets a lot more sun up until they started becoming noticeable and where I have them now, I really wouldn't want much taller for various reasons.

Also, I only planted these at the start of Feb and grew from bag seed. I have 10 or so feminized Australian Blue seeds ready to go once october rolls around.

I originally had 24 females from 32 plants but gave half to a friend to finish off at another location.

i just noticed this, you planted in feb, and now its may,, so technically the day was getting longer ever since , but in flowering it should go vice versa like plant in longer days and flower in shorter, thats might cuze slow buds!! unless you vegged indoors !! and hope they don't go back to vegging )

I'm in Australia, so we are in autumn now, just coming in to winter in June.

Sativas like to fill in they have a higher bud to leaf ratio that indicas. Indicas grow exellent bud quality but the sativa will give you more quantity.. this is my experience with them...they all look great..this what my indoor grow looks like 1 week from harvest...alittle scraggily. but perfectly healthy as far as i can tell.DSCN4335.jpg
