Small buds?? 600w hps??

I'm using a 600w hps and my buds are small. Smaller then someone whos using a 150w and growing a sativa, mine is indica. What would cause small buds?

How far did you have the light from you plants?

how far along are they into flower? what fertilizers are you using? what growing style? what are your conditions?

There could be a number of reasons that contibuted to having small buds, airflow, Nutrients (problems,lack of nutrients), genetics.

Maybe your strain just has small buds. If not there are a lot of conditions that will cause small buds. For instance if room's too cold the buds will become way smaller than normally. If the plant is healthy the buds will become massive under a 600w HPS - my avatar had nothing bud 600W HPS.

also the last two weeks or so of flowering the buds really swell up and fill in.

Nutrient feedings probably are not up to par, i noticed pass grows my buds were tiny, i like you was using 600 grams to get 21 grams of bud from 3 plants with 6 week vegg, it sucked, lucky me that i had an extra plant outside that i practiced in dialing in my nutrient feeding. I see a super huge difference and that plant same strain had only a 3-4 week vegg and looks like it will yeild 2+ oz and the buds swell bigger than i ever saw. Since than i keep my Ph level at 6.5 and feed accordanly as my religion.
