Small bud pruning question

So my trainwreck has been flowering about fifteen days and has a lot of good buds developing. At the bottom of a lot of the branches I have very under developed small buds that I don’t think are very useful. Will it hurt to remove these airy smaller buds now or should I leave it alone?

I normally try to do any pruning / lolli-popping in flower within the first 2 weeks, but I'd think so long as you do it right away you'll be ok. And yes, the thought is those low sites won't amount to squat, so let all the plants strength go to the top buds...Not to mention it sux trimming small buds!!
