perplexed!! purchased feminized autoflowering strain from ministry in amsterdam. first time growing so i wanted to start small; only two plants and using cfl's. used good quality soil, distilled/bottled water... all high quality shit and have followed as many instructions/advice as possible yet i have lots of problems.
after a few weeks growth seemed slow and tips of leaves were yellowing; seemed like possible nitro deficiency so i gently upped the nutes and doubled lights. seemed to help at first but plants are still small (i think??) and as of today i see a millieu of tiny white bugs on top of the soil! read the very informative 'grizzly's guide to pulverizing pests' post (among others) on bugs forum and it sounds closest to nematodes but he says those are essentially invisible? bugs are very small, dont seem to have wings or jump... two bugs are identified by red arrows in pic, other pic shows size of bug in relation to pin head
lighting : started with one 200-W equivalent cfl's at blue/daylight/6500K spectrum; doubled lights when growth seemed slow. just two small plants in an 8" pot so that is more than 400W / sq ft for most of their lifetime.
plants are now a little over 6 weeks old... see pics. please halp! should i try to save these or start over...? strain info from ministry says plants will autoflower in *9 to 11 weeks* so they are approx 2/3 of the way through their veg cycle
