its def worth it. for 200 bucks in seeds you know you are smoking whatever is your fave. i can smoke lowryder when i want, a free strain my buddy gave me thats a white strain and i have hempstar. its great. plus if you are out to just have the best weed ever you know you do. no arguements. unless you can get a steady supply of perfect white russian or kali mist why not buy the seeds? 200 dollar seeds= ounces of the best stuff. plus they are highly stabilized. =they will all grow evenly usually. and high germ rate. go for it

my only problem is that i'm a little scared to buy them off the net. i already bought my equipment there. i guess i'm worried about an electronic paper trail. oh, how could i get in touch with you on here without being on the same thread. i'm new to all htis(growing included) i really enjoy this hobby & plan on staying with it. i've had a couple of decent crops so far & plan on an outdoor grow this summer. gotta get some nice girls ready for that too. later man

you can flower under the fluoros but look at the bud on the first page it looks hella fluffy. to really put the weight on and get your yeilds up you have to have the hps. sorry ladies. But i will give the fluoros one thing they are great for veg. if you have enough light you can grow some crazy thick little bushes.
well, for non commercial, personal medical MJ users like me, I think that HOT5's are the IDEAL choice for lighting. Less electricity, less heat, less money spent on fans/ducts/cooltubes etc etc.. so what , who cares if the dried product doesnt weigh as much... Well, I dont anyway..

It's not just weight. Denser buds will provide more smoke, too. It means the difference of cramming a little popcorn bud into a pipe and realizing that you'll need to squish a couple more in there, or sticking a dense little nug in a bowl that produces hit after hit of milky smoke.
Weight is the measurement of smokable material.

i do agree that to argue flouros you have to argue yield also. i yield heavy with them and am happy but if the yield was light i would admit it and switch. above is right you should try to squeeze every gram you can out of a grow without sacrificing quality. i would never sacrifice yield for the same quality. if flouros dont work for ya try something else. yield is def important
