Thanks c. They sure seem to like the T5's. I think I'm gonna execute the little twin tomorrow afternoon. It has shown nothing but cotyledons and I don't want it causing me any trouble with the "normal" one. Sorry.

I didn't get to test any more samples today. I'm about over the sore throat I got but still can't hold in a lung full of smoke so don't want too waste any. ha
I've got to make another run to the garden center to pick up some more supplies.

haha I've noticed it's not that the city folk are any different. It's that the stupidity is concentrated into a smaller area.

It's survival of the fittest!! Save the good one!

I was looking at some T5's. Thinking about putting them in the veg area. I have enough room in there to go with 400 or 600w MH to. Still time to think about that one though!

Welcome back ILZ. Did you have to create a new account for some reason?
No kidding. How 'bout them Boys! Arrr arrr arrr. 'bout fuckin' time.
Yah, I'm an idiot and forgot my login information... I also let the yahoo email account that it was to expire, oh well.:cuss:
Finally, after 13 years the Cowboys don't choke in the playoffs! I can die a happy person now.:bigjoint:

No shit on the concentrated area, ha. I just hate going to the city. But I waited till the morning rush hours were over before I headed out.

Yeah still no sign of growth from the little twin, gonna snip it here shortly. Sadly, I was hoping for twin girls but looks like only one will make it. I wonder if that one is a female will it have a greater chance to have twins if pollinated? Hmm????

After reading all the positive things about the T5's I'm glad I went that route over a 400 HID for my needs. seedlings/clones/moms I'm not too concerned about flowering under them although I might give it a try (one day).

Glad you were able to salvage most of the handle. Talk about Cowboy fever, it's like the flu around here. ha . Now if they don't throw it away there's hope for another ring.:?:

Alright everyone,
Once I got back in the country I fired up a little Hijack to calm my nerves and settle in for the trip home.

I made it back with most of my sanity and my new supplies. I got 50 of the MAGNUM BLACK SQUARE POT - 6 x 6 x 7 INCHES . A 2x4 Botanicare tray and a nice stack of FFOF and some more Roots Organic Formula 707 and other misc supplies. (not pictured).

Those Botanicare trays are well made and versatile should I decide to go hydro in the future. hmmmm, lol. NOT!

Glad to hear you made it back safe!! Nice pile of supplies you have, it should make for some happy plants!

The twins might skip a generation.. Isn't that how it work for us any way? ;)

I think for the the light upgrades are going to have wait. I might get new veg bulbs but I'll stick with the T12 for now.

Man thats a lot of supplies you got there. At first I thought those are some small pots wheich = small plants. Then I realized they were for the seedlings and mothers.

On the twin, I only had one JTR pop correctly. THe other two got stuck in the RR and only part of the stem came out. THe remaining twin (weaker) just withered and the last one standing was the girl I grew.

If you want to see what a well indoor CC looks like check out TLDs perpetual journal. That HJ you have is not the best HJ I have smoked. The HJ female pheno I had was not as good as the sampler or plants FDD had in 2008. The male I used as a pollen parent in my crosses was very nice. Smelled good, nice internodal spacing and good trunk and branch structure. I actually had 4 males to choose from. I think those crosses will be very good if they survive the wilds of the grow area.

Yeah they are bigger than they look. A little over 1 gal each like 4.135 L = 1.09235 gal capacity. These are just for seedlings and clones though. The moms will have bigger pots when the time comes. I sure like the square ones=no wasted space under the lights.

A few pics from under the T5's (makes them look kinda yellowish). The last pic of the little JTR twin...snip

Sorry about all the GIANT pics. I'm trying photobucket and wasn't aware they were so freakin' large. lol Gonna start loading them a little smaller...

Let's try this, too big too small?

Anyone ever used these for gnat control? Gonna put it around the indoor just in case.

A DEA officer stops at a ranch in Texas and talks with an old rancher. He tells the rancher, "I need to inspect your ranch for illegally grown drugs." The rancher says, "Okay , but do not go in that field over there," as he points out the location.

The DEA officer verbally explodes saying, " Mister, I have the authority of the Federal Government with me." Reaching into his rear pants pocket, he removes his badge and proudly displays it to the rancher. "See this badge? This badge means I am allowed to go wherever I wish.... On any land. No questions asked or answers given. Have I made myself clear? Do you understand? "

The rancher nods politely, apologizes, and goes about his chores.

A short time later, the old rancher hears loud screams and sees the DEA officer running for his life chased by the rancher's big Santa Gertrudis bull......

With every step the bull is gaining ground on the officer, and it seems likely that he'll get gored before he reaches safety. The officer is clearly terrified. The rancher throws down his tools, runs to the fence and yells at the top of his lungs.....

" Your badge.. Show him your BADGE ! "

Anyways, back around here I started some new beans today. I'll dedicate todays planting to our own greenthumb111. I put in a few handpicked beans from my collection and came up with these.

1. SOG's bubble n squeak 1
2. GT's CC x HJ
3. GT's JS3 x HJ
4. GT's JS2 x HJ

:weed:

Cant wait to see what come up from those. Both parents were dank as you know and the structure should be interesting for the CC x HJ as the CC was a beast of a plant andt he HJ male was very well formed. The JSs should be shorter and finish faster than the CC cross. Js2 is my favorite of the JSs. The JS plants were all different but JS1 and 3 were more indy dom and shorter whereas the JS 2 was taller and all 3 had nice hard buds on all branches. The HJ will be the x factor here so should be some keepers in those bags. I'll be watching.

idk yet. Ha, Just little colored sticks but I'm looking for some kind of markers that would work and be more permanant. When I start cloning is gonna be confusing. On the fly stick I haven't seen anything or in the room either just covering my bases. My wifes African Violet in the kitchen got attacked by gnats around Nov after she repotted it. ??? coulda brought them in then. But I DE'd and Gnatrol'd it and haven't seen any since. knock on wood, ha. I damn sure don't want any & hope any that might find their way into the grow room DIE before laying eggs. Like I said, I've never grown indoors so am extra paranoid about parasites. I've read enough about infestations that I don't want any. Right?

The Subcool offerings are exploding under the T5's, about to catch the others already. whoop!

I know the growth of seedlings isn't very exciting to view but I like the record to look back on.

Thanks for visiting. :weed:

Looking good!! Do you have them on a 24/7 or 18/6 light schedule?

I hope you don't get any bugs! I've got a gnats that fly around but nothing major, they get smashed as I see them. I did notice another little bug in my soil. At first I though they were probably gnat larva, but the more I look into it they seem to be root aphids. I found some strange ways to get rid of them, and think they're gone. Even though most things I read said they're REAL hard to get rid of.

Stay medicated bro!!

and the babies. out of the dome into cups.

I'm really liking those T5's more everyday. No heat, hardly notice the power bill, explosive growth, super quiet. I might get another bank of them. :bigjoint:

Hey peeps, Got 4 cu ft of course perlite for $20 this morning. About ready to transplant into the Magnum pots, I'm gonna go 1" of course perlite, 4" Roots Organic 707, and fill in around the transplants with FFOF. Bitches are exploding I say!!!
