Looks like I got some much needed rain. Whoo hoo!!! The only problem is now I need to respray everything. So I mixed up two gallons of spinosad to do it but the chance of rain is still pretty high. Another day or two of this rain is a blessing for the ground moisture and makes for less watering but those moths and butterflies are loving it. I'll use these 2 gal of spinosad on the next spraying and then mix up some Safer Caterpiller Killer. It's a little extra work but good insurance during this wet spell.
I've started seeing enough flowering development that I've decided to begin molasses feeding with the nutes. I've got two different ones that I'm going to use simultaneously. The gallon jug of horticulture molasses I found at Lowe's and good old grandma's pure molasses in the jar. I'm completely sold on using molasses if you couldn't tell. I just love how the buds get that heavy thick sticky sweet charm. bongsmilieDelicious

I'd like to try it but the $$$cha ching part of it is pretty steep. You forget that I'm a cheap bastard  I'm gonna use Superthrive with my molasses and 1/2 strength mg for now. If I ever run across that fox farm stuff I might try it.

Well howdy all. I've got a few more pics from the last time I was out spraying spinosad. I figured on some tunes to start off the viewing.

Hey c, yes I love my rock&roll almost as much as my bud. You might say they're both lifetime commitments. Most of the indica crosses have started flowering pretty good but there are some pure sativas that have only showed preflowers. They are SOOOO slow. I had one go to late Oct last year.
Glad you enjoyed the porn.:peace:

Nice grow going on there Slab. I agree the first ones look as though they are begining the flower dance. My sativas are also starting to start shortening up the nodal division preparing for flower but they are also still growing. How much of that molassas do you put in a gal of water? Keep up the good work

Yeah thx gt, I usually use one tablespoon per gallon. 5 per bucket. So with the Medina horticultural molasses I'm gonna do the same, so it will be 5 tablespoons of Grandma's and 5 tablespoons of the Medina per 5 gallon bucket. I want those slabs super sticky this year. HHhmmmm mmmm
Just wait until you see how they start swelling up. Sweet :leaf:

Hey bigT, You bet man grab a chair and join in. Welcome aboard, the more the merrier. My style is a bit unorthadox but it suits me. And we are all a bit attracted to the herb. So hang around and see how it turns out. :peace:

What's up everyone? Today I got a little Rain Wizard on my mind.

It seemed like a good time to get out and spray Safer Bt and start some molasses feeding. I needed to hit the ferts again anyway since I had a couple of rains since the last feeding. The supplies were a jar of Grandma's and my gallon jug of horticulture molasses from Lowe's. Got another tube of the mg veg formula, some snips for any pruning or weed control. I hauled the water up from the creek before mixing just in case I spilled any. grrrrrr.

Of course I took a little porn so I hope you enjoy it:weed:

Man I'm liking the view here. Those sativa's are sure gonna be late this year....

So that's pretty much it today besides the big ol' bowl of my late season I'm working on. MMMmmm mmmmm :joint:

I guess I'll visit some other journals and look at the outdoor growing and general threads for a bit. Before I ... Get back to work.

Well it's a good thing all that hard work pays off so sweetly!! Keep it up!

Is there something special about the horticulture molasses? Just curious, I didn't know they had it out there.

I don't guess it's special. It's more crude actually not thick and viscous like the Grandma's. It has more of the beneficial microbes and raw sugars.

Natures Wisdom Horticultural Molasses Gal

 • Soil Amendment
 • Liquid Foliar Feed
 • Gallon Concentrate
Price: $10.47
Product No: NW008

 • "A product of the cane industry very high in natural minerals, enzymes and amino acids. An excellent nitrogen source, molasses feeds the soil microbes and energizes the microbial life of the soil. Excellent for compost piles. Application to plants will increase sugar levels improving resistance to chewing and sucking insects. "

g'morn riz, yeah thx man. That sativa is some more bagseed but sure was some heady smoke. Typical sativa really sociable with a uplifting high. The closest strain I can find that looks like an afropips nigerian or the like. Haha, just old mexi but the buds were really dense with just a few seeds. This strain has the most slender leaflets I've ever grown. I was almost afraid it was some ditchweed by the looks of it growing until I think about the heady buds it comes from. A pure sativa I believe. hmmm

You know riz, I appreciate your visits. That awesome guerrila grow is inspiration for what I do. I just love the RIU journals and threads for the knowledge and advice I get. Keep it coming bro.

Thanks for the paranoia genfranco. But the only thing I leave behind is CO2. I don't even leave footprints and I pack my shit in and out every trip. Yep, it's a lot of extra trouble but I'm in a flyover zone so I don't take any chances. And trails are everywhere here. The coyotes, wild pigs, cows, and critters have trails everywhere. Literally impossible to follow any one trail ya know:o And thanks for turning me on to the supercropping, the signature profile is almost completely gone. Looks more like ragweed or brambles than ganga.:weed:

Thanks for all the comments! I'm always looking to improve things and make for a better grow. In fact I'm gonna try some bloom ferts this year, I always used just regular stuff up to flush.
:peace:

Man that sprayer is a lifesaver. A little 1.5gal I picked up at Tractor Supply for less than $10. If I was gonna get another one I'd go for the 2gal for more spraying between refills. I think Lowe's has that same sprayer. Well worth the money!!!:hump:

Your chit is looking great :weed:
