Not trying to make you feel bad or anything but my weather yesterday was 82 deg mostly sunny with a slight breeze.
Man, if we crack 80 degrees this summer, i'll be amazed!!! Let's see, it's 11 a.m., middle of July, and it's 62 degrees out. I need some sun!!!! It just goes to show ya though how our
MJ can thrive in such diverse environments and conditions. Without a doubt the most versitile, beneficial plant on this planet. Hopefully some day ( soon!! ) our powers that be will allow us to fully utilize all of the amazing properties of cannabis!! Wishful thinking probably, but we just gotta keep fighting for what's right, right?

Grow on Slab!! Your girls are lookin excellent!! Sorry about your little fellas, but don't worry, a little pollen goes a long way!!!! Keep up the Work!!!:peace:

Wow man awesome plants you have outside. Those clones look pretty awesome too. How hard was it to find a spot like that? Im in a pretty suburban area I dont think I could find sumthin like that without the risk of having someone find it and stealing my plants or getting in trouble with the law

Yes it's an amazing plant alright. I'm still learning new things to try every year. RIU has made it possible for us older growers to help out the newbs and also let the whippersnappers teach us a few new things. Who'd ever thought I'd have clones growing under cfl's. That's just crazy!!!! But they are doing great.:joint:

Thanks for condolences on the little fellas. They may RIP but the DNA goes on.

Hello there Southbuds, welcome to my grow journal. You know security is one of those things that's best learned the hard way. If you've ever been ripped off or had a grow molested or die on ya, you learn through trial and error about what works and what doesn't. When you learn that the rest is easy.

Speaking of the clones. Doing pretty well today. I'm gonna transplant some of them into bigger pots and start getting some sun. The plan is to select the biggest 3 for mothers for more clones.

Thanks, yeah I'd never done clones or indoor lighting before so all new stuff for me. I've got the materials for the center light. I went with 12 of the 23w 65000k daylight bulbs. My local store didn't have anything more powerful in cfl's. But in a 36" hood that's pretty bright. With a dozen on the sides and a dozen overhead I should be in the 38,000 lumen range. I'm curious to see how it grows. :weed:

I checked on the Supercropped plants today. I must say that is one technique I never would have tried intentionally. Although I remember having a plant or two like that in the past, it was usually some freak accident that damaged the stem. To be going around smashing and pinching and bending and twisting healthy thriving plants is almost wierd. Kinda kinky even, LOL. But the results are pretty hard to ignore when those side shoots start exploding in new growth. So here's some Supercropping porn for all you pervs out there. Oh yeah, I got a little too rough with that last one and snapped the top right off. DAMN!!!! Oh, well I got more clones started...

These are some I Supercropped this morning. That last one on the right I wound up breaking the top off it. Got some clones already in the humidity tent from that little "Oh Shit".

LOL, yeah franco. I'm gonna give it a try. My OL likes it too so I'm experienced. Ha ha

Amazing to see the results in just a few days. But I sure learned there is a point of no return.
I'll keep the results posted so check back to see how they fare.

Bad news on my first batch of clones. I had transplanted them to larger pots and was starting to expose them to a little sun. They got a little sunburned that first day but over the last two days we finally got the first rain of July. About 3" of rain and they were sitting in a big flat tub to keep them out of the slugs and fire ants. I get out there to check on them and they are mostly all submerged in the tub. Sopping dripping wet. I got them out of the soup and set them out to dry so maybe they won't all die. Dammit, I spent a lot of love and compassion with them. It makes me mad that I left them out in the elements vulnerable to be injured or killed. I'll be more careful with this second batch. The ones from the top I accidentally snapped off supercropping. LOL, I'm sure not having much success right now in veg. Hey, that reminds me, time to pull out a fresh jar of slabs '08 :leaf:

Now everything's going to be alright. :joint:

Glad to hear you are getting rain. Maybe a break from the intense heat will cause them to shoot up.

I love your pic from last year's. Hopefully, in two months I will have something to match it, if I'm lucky.
