pour that into the first bag ice and all and then let it settle for a while letting the crystal fall through to the next bags then lift up the first bag and I like to pour just a bit water like a glass or 2 over it to rinse anything that might not have gone through when settling then give it a bit of a ring and start slowly pulling up the other bags till all the water is out and then rinse the hash into the center of each bag and scoop out the hash with a thin spoon.

Yeah I can see the need to run it twice. I had so much in there I'm thinking some might not have got rinsed from the first bag. Without that ice this time should go quicker.

Here's the first run. That 20 (still on the bag) is amazing looking.

Well two runs was worthwhile. I did almost get as much the second time, almost. lol



All together from the left top row is the 150 mesh, the 120, the 75 and the 20 mesh on the bottom.

Not too bad for the first time. No weights yet I'll let it dry and work it overnight before I weigh.

I gotta go clean up the mess before my OL gets home. lol

Sorry to distract from your awesome journal/work again, but...

So most safe/psychedelic mushrooms bruise blue and have a more pointed top than most? Are there any other signs that could help recognize the safe ones from the unsafe ones? Just curious because next time I head out to the farm I will definitely be looking at the cow patties a bit more intently now...

The bluing is the safest most reliable way to tell. That is actually the psylocibe that turns blue. I don't look for a pointed top. Most of the ones I see are a few days after a good rain, after the white ones and the lbm's (little brown mushrooms). Look for a bronze brown eye "my brown eyed girl" . Then get the tap all of it, clean it up, and watch for the bluing. Happy hunting.

I like to dry mine on cardboard for a few days and dice up to eat.

You ever make tea? I love a good trip from mushroom tea. It hits real hard, quick and fast and you peak early then you slowly come down. I don't have to use as much as I would if I were eating them either

I think that even if we did this with all of our infected caterpillar shit stuff i think it would be good. I mean i didnt pick shit off when i did mine... i kinda just stripped the plant let it dry and then worked it with ice... All the goodness... noo poop or bugs or nothing... the magical bags are good!

I have had tea before but find it kind of hard to swallow. The same with fresh ones since ya gotta consume 10 times the amount as compared to the dried ones. My fav dosage is 10 g of dried diced up on a sandwich, just enough to put something on my stomach without getting nauseous.

Yes they make some good stuff alright.



So here's what I wound up with out of my Heartbreaker storm. 10 packed jars of sticky skunk and a side order of hash.

The 150 mesh is kind of crumbly and not as dense; weighs 5.0 g

The 120 mesh weighs 5.5 g

The 75 mesh weighs 9.2 g

And my favorite is the 20 mesh weighs 14.7 g

Hey bro.. I did a mix with the 120 and the 150 to hav more of it.. And uh.. nope not worth it... next time im throwing that 150 out. taste like CACA!

LOL

although i can see how all together gives it that distinct smell and taste... Hmm.. I dont know ..75 fav..20 is nice too... but 75.... MINE>lol

I hear you on that 150. Actually I haven't even smoked any of that. It just has too much leaf material to be workable. That leaves me with 29.4g of some nice tar. Not bad for trim and discards from 10 jars.

hell not bad at all there bud... I cant even finish cutting one of mine down... i mean they all look frankenstaeined up...tops first..LOL.. very nice haul on your first go at it!

It looks wonderful. I would break it up and let it dry some more if your planning on storing your hash for long period because it can mold on you, Ive had it happen and learned my lesson quick. You said that about half your crop is cut now? Man your going to have a a lot of hash when your done you already have over an oz. I like to use the fluffy stuff in my canna butter, It makes it so much easier to make because you don't have to sieve out the butter from the weed you just toss it in and heat on low. Anyways good job and enjoy the fruits of your labor. :peace: bongsmilie:eyesmoke:

Yeah gf, I got a couple that the tops broke out. Just some lower branches hanging out there on their own. Looks funny for sure.

OK nick, I'll do that dry it out more. Don't want any mold for damn sure. I wrapped it up to press it then I'll unwrap and dry more. Thanks for the heads up.
Oh, no I'm not really even into harvesting yet. These were some from a bad storm I had a bit back. My big fat girls are still strugglin'. I'll lose some but can always turn those into bubble. hehehe

The reason you like the 75 in your batch and he likes the 20 in his batch is because your trichromes are bigger than his so they are all stopping in the 75. It may change on the next round of cutting because his trichromes might have plumped up a bit. It also has to do with the strains. I use to do a sweet tooth plant that all the good hash stopped at the 150. It can also change if you use wet trim/bud over dry trim/bud because trichromes are always more plump when wet.:peace:
