This plant was transplanted into a bigger pot early on from a cup. I learned that the more room to grow you give, the faster her roots will grow and the bigger she will get! Take note people, always provide more than enough root room for your babies to grow.

hi sdg my first grow was skunk#1 .and like your self thought more room for the roots has gotta be good .so i put um in 2 gallon pots after about a week of being sprouted .growth was brilliant till i saw pots were nt gonna be big enough .to flower them in.so i got 5 gallon pots .when i repotted i saw all the roots had gone 2 the out side of the pot and just spiraled round it ,and hardly any of the middle of the pot was being used .so 4 my second grow ive repotted 4 times and root growth has been even all the way threw each plant .i got a pic of first grow its about 2 weeks old second pic is second grow about 2 weeks old .

The plants are all looking great. Finally got my 400w hps up and runnin!

I started the flowering process of the biggest one yesterday. She's grown 2" in the last 2 days so thats great. She's around 14" and i cant wait for her to be finished! :hello:

The topped one is growing nicely. The 2 shoots have grown about 4" in 2 weeks or so after topping. She currently stands at about 10"

This one i've left alone- no topping. This way i could compare the growth rates of one left alone and a topped plant. She stands at about 1'.

The jock horror hydro is doing pretty well. For some reason one of the fan leaves started to turn like a pale yellowish color so i cut that leaf off. It seems to have spread to the other fan leaves but hasn't progressed in a few days. I purchased some FloraShield which should be coming in the mail hopefully by next week.

Some nutes ive been using:

The fam:

I also ordered some mylar and 2 & 5 gallon grow bags (those plastic baggy pot things) so i could give the roots more room to grow. Happy new years everybody!

3 skunks are female and so is the jock horror! i went ahead and flowered anyways. I see the white hairs starting to barely show.

I know it is still early in the flowering stage, but should i change feeding to every other day instead of checking if the first inch or so of soil is dry? I understand that it takes roughly 2 weeks for the plant to be in full flower mode and they drink up water a lot faster.

How often should i water with nutes? I just started using the maxi bloom nute with the watering.
I was thinking of watering with nutes, regular water, then nute water. is this good or should i just do full blast nutes each watering?
How often should i flush during the flowering period??
