more light, and probably less water. when you're in a pot that big, you shouldn't have to water more than once per week, maybe less. You're losing more water to evaporation than to the plant. It is too small to dry the soil ...

i agree with CEESTYLE...easy on the water...ru puting any nutes in?? that may be the bruning at the tip...as far as the stem goes: put a fan in the box blowing on it lightly..that will help it get thicker.....do alot of reading that always helps...good luck and:peace::blsmoke:

when the tips turn brown its usually cause too much fertilizerss chill out on that let it grow before you throw those in there that should help a little

hmm i seen the same problem happen to my friend, so basically more lights ? i seen my friends babies and there almost like curving growing like side ways but i can see that its healthy. Any suggestions about how to make the babies stand up and not curv on sideways? and he has it in like a little pot not like the one on display

...3 weeks old? you need smaller pot if you water that much, you need more light and you can not use nutes in beginning with this soil, it has ehough goodies to grow without nutes for ~2 to 3 weeks.

u may want to start over again, cause plant that big usually grows in 3 to 4 days with good care and normal lights.

+ dont forget about fan.

good luck

my first plant was kinda like yours about 3 weeks old in a 4-5 gallon pot and i thought it was gonna die so i finnaly got some foxfarm ocean forest soil and transplanted my plant into a 16oz plastic cup with ocean forest soil and wow did it really start to grow.

no food at this stage... just ph balanced water. and get a fan if you dont have one it will strengthen your stem.

cees . is right..I mist a few times daily and give a good watering every 3-4 days..
no nutes 3-4 weeks. plus a fan will make the stem stronger.. You can also pile dirt up if baby starts to tilt... Luck

A skinny stem is usually corrected by the addition of the of the warmer spectrum known as HPS. Note I say HPS and not warm cfl. HPS is all I use. I never use MH as I find that I always get greater stalk strength and heavier final yieds. A small fan blowing gently on the stem will cause small tears in the hurd and allow to heal thick. An HPS lamp will greatly increase your healing speeds.

I also noticed your leaf tips burning and it could be due to toxicity. I know you are not feeding but are you reusing soil from a previous crop? Always remember to flush with twice the volume of water to soil for a proper cleanse of your medium. Good luck and good growing.
