Skimpy buds in week 7-8 of flowering... :(

What is wrong with my plant? It's around it's 8th week in flower and it still doesn't have a single solid bud on it. It has hairs covering almost half the plant but won't grow a solid bud anywhere. I don't currently use any nutes, they are under 2 150W(CFL equivalent) 3 100W CFLs, 1 60W CFL, and 2 2ft T12s.
I'm also having a problem with my leaves getting speckles on them then shriveling up and falling off. I think it may be a lack of nutes or something. I'm going to get some Jack's Classic Bloom Booster this week..Anyone think that;ll help?

Well, due to me not knowing the exact genetics of your plants its hard to say. However, I take into account that those plants look to be sativa dominates. They typically take a long time to flower. Anywhere from 10-14 weeks flowering time. I would say you have sufficent lights. Moreso, I think the lack of Nutz is suspect. Get yourself some Nutz and I think they will beef up nice and fat.

Wow.... 10-14 weeks... That's hella longer than i originally thought.. I was figuring about 8-10. Cool though, thanks for the advice.

The only reason I base that statement is because of the lack of nutrients. Typically, most sativas are done by week 12, but without proper nutz its going to take longer to reach ripness :)

So i can pretty much keep flowering them as long as it takes for them to fill out? Or does the plant get to a point were it has to be harvested?

16th week of flowering? you serious with that? Your def. doing something wrong..

and the same goes for Kirashiro. You both have done something severely wrong somewhere along the grow.

I've never EVER had a plant take 16weeks. I've had one take 11.5 weeks.. and that was a pure sativa strain.. and they just take longer to flower.

But yeah, 16 weeks? dude, you might as well start over from scratch. Those buds have already passed their window of harvest.. and they're

probably no good now.. the THC has probably degraded to nothing now.

As for your grow, Kirashiro... ehhh... hmmm. Not sure what happened with yours.

How many weeks into flowering are you again? (and are you sure that's the EXACT number of weeks that they've been flowering)?

Its important to keep records of your grow. Like I personally, have a whiteboard that I use, and I record everything from the height of the plant;

to when my plant(s) are fed. Keeps things from going chaotic and possibly killing my plants from not being able to remember when I did what.

Keeps the guess work out.

I'd say you have plenty of wattage lumens.. but you def. had to have made a mistake somewhere along the line as well.

I have no idea what mistake you made.. but you made one.

Make sure you know the basics of growing.. before attempting a grow people. That's my only advice for the both of ya's.

peace..

Not really.. there's a "harvest window" that every strain has.. where during that window.. the plant will be at its peak ripeness.

Do you even know how to check to see if your plant is ready to harvest? Do you know what to look at? and how to look at it?

Nobody answer that.. I want Kirashiro to answer those questions.. nobody else.

ya so from my experience i would have to say give that plant a regular feeding program and flushes somewhere in the middle. The speckled leaves could be anything from bugs to a nutrient deficiency. But my suggestion is to definetly do a steady feeding program and that makes diagnosing problems easier if your on a schedule.

o.o Not really sure that i needed someone to tell me 4 times in one post that i made a mistake..
I'm very much aware that i have put my plants through hell and back. This is my first grow and i didn't even expect the seeds to sprout.
They started outside in pots, got moved into the garage WAY too far under too few lights for a month, then got moved inside to a permanent grow spot, i broke one of them in half, i've burnt them with lights, over watered them, and all kinda of experiments with LST.

I'm not expecting anything special from my plants. I just want to finish them so that i have a decent knowledge for when i start my next grow. I'm learning through trial and error.

I know to check the trics with a pocket scope until you get a good mix of cloudy/clear and amber trics

i can recomend trying to put some cfls on a reg lamp and have them next to your plants. from what i can see it looks like everything is up above them and they are pretty tall for cfls.

and as far as 16 weeks for flowering that is like the longest flowering time for any pure sativa out there and if its not done by then there is def. something wrong.

but try and get some lights closer to them babys. i wouldnt throw them out because you came this far.

hopefully if you do that they will respond and thicken up a bit. and your pistils would be starting to die off if you where almost done (looks like all of yours are white)

good luck man
