Which do you prefer and why?

Is titanium really better than glass?

does one smoke better than the other in general?

Which is better for a first time dabber?

Any answers greatly appreciated and dont get me wrong ive smoked bho and wax just never dabbed as ive never
been able to afford a rig so i just put it on my flower bowls.
I found a few cheap glass dome sets online about 40 after s&h but i have a friend willing to sell a skillet for 30 he says he paid 70 plus tax never the less im trying to get so ideas which is best

We've experimented with skillets, nails and wands, using Borosilicate, Quartz, and Cp grade Ti.

They all work and it is mostly a matter of taste. Borosilicate and Quartz add a hot glass taste, and once you build an alpha case on the Ti, it is flavor neutral.

Borosilicate will also eventually crack, but Quartz holds up to repeated heating and cooling.

I would say get a quartz nail man, everyone talks about titanium but I used titanium for a few months then got a quartz nail and the taste difference is very noticeable, plus there's no negative health effects that might come with metal, but really the taste is way better with quartz.

Only done a skillet once and it was alright but nothing that different than a nail really.

There seems to be enough difference in taste between individual users, that I suggest trying both glass and a seasoned Ti, to see what you personally like best.

Knowing it was so big, I knew I should of seasoned first, but shit.. I wanted to try the bad boy out.

First dab off it, was totally indicative of non-seasoned hit off a nail.

Just keep torching and hitting with claim in repetition (cooling/heating) should season this right?

Got it for the purpose of dropping BHOmbs, when a concentrate is deemed ” un-dabbable”, or not dabber friendly, shit that won't stick to a dabber...lol

Second purpose, was having a nice big surface area for ” large” dabs..haha

I think something different happens to the Ti when constantly heated to a bright orange rather than heating it just enough. I love how mine has a nice yellow and blue color changing effect...like good Ti should.
Can't wait to get a bike again and get a Ti exhaust.
I enjoy rolling tiny balls of wax and dropping them onto my domeless rather than dabbing.
Mine only cost me 55 but i has $20 off due to frequent flyer miles.
It's hot in the house right now so the fan is messing with the hits once in a while blowing some vapors away from the intake. Maybe a dome-style would help prevent this. I have a cheap glass nail and dome setup but i just move away from the fan cause i dig my domeless so much.
Just made some winterized blueberry bho, from trim, good shit though.
Working on some TrainWreck winter...hope 10g in the end.
