Sinus Pressure

A nice hot cup of tea always feels good. The warm liquid feels good and helps loosen mucus. Something with a little licorice root and slippery elm will feel nice and soothe your throat and help your couph. You'll find those two in most throat or cough blends. Use a small amount of honey it has anti-bacterial properties, and taste good.
I personally find the http://www.neilmed.com/usa/sinusrinse.php much easier to use than a nedipot, but I've done sinus rinse every day for years.
If the arsenal you taking doesn't help you need to see the doctor.
You never know what infections can be. There is bad shit out there.

Yeah it has a tube that runs from the lid to the bottom. When you squeeze it it comes out the top. Its much easier than trying to contort your head around so the saline will run down your head. It allow a little force with the saline.
The saline packets are premixed and are a nice blend of saline and bicarbonate so its very gentle on the sinus's.
I think its like getting in the ocean when your a stuffed up. It sort of cleans stuff out, hopefully.

You could flush your sinuses.. My GP did that for me, shes a family friend, said she doesn't normally do it since it can cause infection. But theres a guide somewhere on the net.

Also I had the same problem my man, strangely I had a bowl and a few minutes later I was all better :D... which was weird and we were like gawd damn it is a medicine lol.

Glad you feel better. Had a good laugh reading all the remedies. Never heard of this nettie pot deal but it does sound like a rapist. I have one more remedy for you. soak it dude. get a nice steaming hot bath, a cup of tea, a giant water, and close the shower curtain. Drink the cup of tea while sitting and get a huge sweat going. getting too hot? stand up for a bit and have a little water. Then sit back down for a bit. after a bit drain a little water and add more hot water. the key is the sweat. Then take a warm to lukewarm shower, bundle up and get ready for bed.

cures everything. cough, cold, sinus, soreness.

Have you tried really hot food? Your sinuses will panic and scream RUN!!! cn

<edit> I mean pepper-spicy. That stuff has a truly mighty ability to shift phlegm.
This works. I would recommend using the Bhut Jalokia pepper. Squeeze/mush it a bit between your fingers and rub the juice around the inside of each nostril as high as you can get it. Your sinuses will be cleared up within minutes, and it lasts for hours.

NO!! DON'T DO THAT!! I'M JUST KIDDING!!

Do eat some hot wings, or tacos, or spicy chili or some other spicy food though.
It really does work great.

go get a generic brand of nose spray

Afrin FTW!!!!!! This stuff is like heavy artillery for sinus congestion. Use with caution though. It is not for people with heart problems/high blood pressure, kidney problems, prostate problems, etc.........just read the warnings and directions CAREFULLY!!!!! It says not to use it for more than 3 consecutive days and they are serious! Your nose gains a tolerance to this shit real fast and you can get physically hooked on the shit pretty quickly too. Best of luck my friend.;-)

is it really a sinus infection? i had a CAT scan because i had a "sinus infection" but i had very clear sinuses, i just couldn't breathe because i had sinusitis (inflammation). So anyway, now i use a neti pot and some prescription spray. nasonex is good for sinusitis, as is nasacortAQ. OTC shit never works as well but an an antihistamine may help - some people are helped by claritin or zyrtec. if it's truly a sinus infection, you need to see a doctor and get medication.

oh, another thing, don't try to use a neti pot if you're completely clogged. yu will hurt your ear.
