Hmmm, weird about the pics, guys. I can see them over here where I am sitting :/ Been a week since the last ones, some happy stretch going on at the moment, really controlled, turning into a MAGNIFICENT-looking plant, only 2 phenos a bit 'stringy' so far, not expecting huge colas off those at all. I have a feeling the white pheno is the very stretchy one.
I will get some of them into the clone-box come lights-on and get some good pics in CFL light instead of HPS. REALLY beautiful, time to show her off properly now!

OK guys, today I have bad news: Some of you know about my Tahoe run turning herm, gods know why. So of course I have been keeping a close eye on the flowering room, and it transpires that a nanner must have popped open, guessing very low branch (all the nanners were LOW down). Stigma are curling back all over the show in that typical 'I've just been shagged' fashion. I have some serious circulation in there, a ceiling-fan and another oscillating fan too. This has now officially turned into a seed-run.

A total of 22 plants got the chop today. I am not growing out a seed-crop. I have some fresh plants in but that will take a while now. The LVBK will have to wait till the clones are bigger, sorry people. I am gutted beyond words. I have 3 seedlings of the LVBK just transplanted, not yet sexed. I will flower them out for all of you to look over as soon as I am certain they have settled in nicely. It will be around week 4 of veg for them.

The words 'Cali Connection' no longer exist to me. If they are mentioned I will keep the most blank look on my face and ask 'who are they? any good?' I am proud of myself for only losing my temper for a total of 35 seconds. It might be because during that brief time I managed to split a wooden door in half with a single blow. It friggin hurts like hell LOL. Stupid is as stupid does.

The only bright side to this is I am going to be saving some electricity. Don't need to kick 1800 watts. Down to one 600.

Anyhow, this was the LVBK test-run:

And the culprit:

It really is a massive loss. Keep in mind this is just my one table. The others two had to go too.

On to the next movie. 5/5 germ rate on the Dream Beaver, wonderful deep green seedlings, already doubled their little leaves in size overnight.

Oh man thats terrible!!! I had a couple hermi on me but they just selfed, didnt get the rest of the crop. Sorry to hear about the loss. I do have a question if you dont mind though. How many clones can you get off a typical mother per take? Say i popped a seed and let her grow in soil 4weeks? I wouldnt care if the mom didnt have enough limbs to carry on i'm trying to do a SoG and trying to figure out how much t5 to get for moms/clones and how many seeds i need to pop too.

Anything og/chem/sour d is going to be susceptible to said phenomenon. It's just the nature of those genetics they are all bred from the same herm genes so it's always lurking below the surface. That being said don't be all shocked and surprised when any other breeder gives you the same, it's not a widget it's the progeny of the same clones.

yeah it is all a roll of the dice mate. Anything with Thai in its background can be risky eh. I lost this round badly but hey what can you do about these things. My fault for not being quicker, shoulda seen it a mile off. Bit pissed of course this is the first time ever I actually see a herm man... And so we learn. Chalking it up to being one of those things we all go through sometime. Keeps us on our toes and rounds out our experience. Had some epic runs this year the outdoor was phenomenal so I really shouldn't bitch about it. Thanks for the kind words guys, already got fresh plants in the room so time to forget about this crap and care for the new ladies. I am convinced something went wrong, ran this same moms offspring in same conditions before no probs, my timers still run with no power I suspect one or two outages while I was asleep or some shit, perhaps voltage dips switched ballasts off for a bit, something like that.

I veg mums for 8 weeks topping along the way, and take between 5 up to 8 per pass, generally I will keep 3 clones off keepers as mommies to support 15 to 18 cuts per cycle and flower the 9 strongest clones. A mate of mine vegges mums for 12 weeks minimum in DWC and starts with 15 odd clones at the start but I've seen him do passes of more than 30 off a single mum...

My advice would be to spend half an hour inside your flower room after lights off. I did it after the Tahoe herms now, it took a while to spot but I found a single beam of red light right where the herms were. Friggin standby-light on my A/C!!!!!! I wanted to kick my own nuts in. Small, yet significant cock-up leading to a huge disaster...

The one girl that didn't get raped. She was a tad behind the others going into flower, no stigma curled back so no pollen hit her, miraculously:

About week 3 and about to start pumping the calyxes and stigma now... She smells incredibly DANK. No seriously. I have never experienced a smell quite like this. Reminds me of good coffee and berries but doesn't smell like either. DANK. DANK. DANK.

Shit I didn't think of how it would look on the feeds ROFL... Whooooops. Yeah I duct taped that stupid light. I'd just busted out that table so no wonder it never happened before. I feel like a real ass but hey stoner is as stoner does I guess. Right now the weather is great, A/C was pretty much acting as a dehumidifier never kicked on to cool at all. Come summer we get 100f easy, peaks in Feb close to 120 though, come that time I will only run one 400 to keep vegging going till late March, but the outdoor herb will be kickin then so at least the perpetual grow never stops at all. Those are my real babies, the outdoor... Minimum 500 grams a plant and the big fat mommas up to 2 kilos. Outdoor rules!

argh ya' lucky mate! I dont have an outdoor spot YET. will depend on what the place I move next looks like and I am quickly moving into the market for a home. Id LOVE to do out door mostly. id keep a good grow room but outdoors theres no limits. but the way I see it . if we can pretty much mimic nature and micriobiology indoors....imagine what we can do outdoors where some of these factors we artificially add are natural? cant wait to pull out the trash cans and geo pots again some day. i keep them put up far. so i dont get sad. 100 gallon geopot outdoors = winning.

300 liters... Yeah mate, one of those can give you a plant higher than your roof, that's a few kilos of bud when done right. Have you seen what doublejj does outdoors? Friggin insanity those mendo boys know their shit!

I had the same issue with the light on a surge protector. Luckily I caught it before the plants where affected. Glad your tahoe cut is not the issue.
