Well both strains aren't really major yielders but the cross opens the possibilities for some nice yielding phenos. Your gonna prolly want the average yielding phenos tho those could be dominate to either side. If it's like the Platinum Delights I grew she will be lovely. I've only have one pheno of that so far but it's amazing. It's a Blue Power dominate pheno but has a nice mix of Platinum GSC her and the flavor is really coming out on her in the cure. Great stuff. Will continue to test for SinCity and grow many crosses.

I'll definitely vouch for the platinum delights also, I love that plant. I took a bag over to share with a buddy a few weeks ago, and he called it alien weed, he thought it looked crazy. Rock solid, purple buds coated in big fat trichomes that are just loaded with tasty terpenes.

So far all the GSC crosses I've seen have been lower yielding but many look really dank. Both the platinum delight and the Sinmint have super dank phenos. I think I'm safe saying that if you run one pack you will definitely find something worth keeping.

So James I showed you my Sin-d snacks. I put the last seed mother into flower a few weeks ago now, and its definitely Sinmint dominant. Shorter tight nodes, looks like it might actually yield pretty decent. The branches are super sturdy. I'll get a pic with my next update.

The Platinum Delights i selected was an anomaly. It really differed from all the girls I had. All were grapey fruity leaning with cookie undertones and consistent with the an average to low yielder like others have cited. I did have a lime tasting one that was an excellent yielder, but I didn't keep a cut of that particular pheno. No purple buds on my end from any of the pheno types I had either. The cut i did keep has tremendous vigor compared to all of the other gals I had...i think it was 8 or 9 out of a pack and the phenos were all over the place. She finishes very fast like day 50 ish, leans toward the platinum og side in just about every way, and really isn't fruity at all. Everything is subtle about her accept for the high. Straight up indica dom and that's why I love her best. Here's some day 33ish shots.

Looks very similar to the pheno I have except mines has slight purple on it but she went through some very cold nights so I believe that may be why as she's all Blue Power except on struture and flavor once cured. From my understanding Platinum GSC is supposed to be another pheno doesn't have Platinum OG in it but I have seen this before so I don't truly and neither will anybody else when it comes to these cookie cuts. That berry flavor is from the Blue Power in the White Moonshine. Mines has that slight berry flavor after being cured but it's like a baked cookie kush flavor. Straight sour when first smelled. Great pheno that will be around for a good while

Yeah, the other phenos I had did have noticeable blue power representaions, but this one has zero berry. Ironically, I went through a lot of Platinum OG directly out of the Bay a few years back and I'm very familiar with that strain. The smell is very subtle, on the scale of 1-10 it's like a 3. The taste is all obnoxious though, a kushy earthy 10...very reminiscent of the Platinum OG my friends and I loved so much. I'm at around day 40 as I type this and the lights just went out so I'll take a couple more pics.

I feel you it could be the Master Kush in Blue Power coming out more. I know on my pheno I def smell and taste the Master Kush in her. I've heard some amazing things about Platinum OG. Trying to score a cut of it soon so I can see what it be like. Won't be long before you harvest my pheno is a very fast finisher. 55-60 max

Yup, you might be on to something with the master kush. One thing about this pheno is there's no mistaking it...straight kush. After taking a few shots it's starting to bring the funk now. This is my first run with the cut other than topping all the girls I had and flowering out the tops to see what the end product would be. This pheno has very strong branches, a huge stretch, and is a cal/mag fiend. I just finished about a 8 month run of tangerine power, and the plant growth, smell, taste, high, you name it is the complete opposite...straight KUSH!!!

@akhiymjames I just caught something you said, "from your understanding Platinum GSC is just a GSC pheno." Where did you hear that from? That's the first I've heard that. I don't know for sure, but some very very respectable growers I know told me it was Platinum OG × GSC (not the forum cut). I don't know, but it'd be great to find out what you know...

Can't wait to see what she looks like. A decent yielding cookie sounds lovely. I'm hoping the my SinMints can give me a good yielding cookie dom pheno. If those won't it's ok as I have a few other cookie crosses that could possibly do so

I've seen numerous threads online and articles saying that Platinum GSC was just another pheno. They also have it listed this way at seedfinder

But I've also heard that it has Platinum OG in it too so iono. That's why I never really try to get into what these damn cookie phenos really are. They're fire I know that but I don't think nobody but the Cookie Fam knows the true story. But I'm not even close to the Cali scene at all and I'm sure the people you know could very well know what they're talking about but when it comes to cookies all I can say is I know OG is in it cus you see the OG traits don't know which OG tho

I was under the same impression as James on this. I don't know if it was said by Sin City at some point or what. I ran one of the tester runs on the platinum delights back in 2013, and when I looked into the lineage it seemed like the Platinum GSC was just another pheno.

Oh okay...yeah seedfinder is hit and miss. I remember when they first started. They do their best, but they are misinformed often. I'm pretty sure it's Platinum OG × GSC. I have a lot of experience with the GSC (not the forum) that the cookie fam sold in the Bay when the craze first really started to spread. Both Plat OG and GSC were a thing in Haight Ashbury from one of my sources at the time, so I can definitely see someone going I'm gonna cross these two. GSC was never clone only...there were seeds from the beginning. Idk about platinum og though. I popped up and my guy was like hey you're gonna love this, it's platinum og, and he was right lol!

Let me do some digging @Thundercat. I think I remember saying something to somebody on the farm about it a few months ago too and they told me the same thing my peeps in the Bay told and I wanna say a bunch of others guys cosigned that it was plat og × gsc...let me check

Lordddddddddddd!!!! What the hell! I stay off the boards for a few months and i see shit really hit the fan with gsc (if that was even more possible lol). You guys might be right, but that story is more than likely make believe too. The story is such a big ass mess right now with all the cuts that there's no telling what the hell forum, animal, plat, etc really are. This shit is bananas!

I only posted the seedfinder info because that was the quickest I could find that said that Platinum GSC was just another pheno but this is what I've always heard when it came to this. Even the GSC thread on ICMag says it and they're crazy about it over there. But now you see why I said I don't even get into the lineage of the GSC cus it's just wayyyyy too much to get into. Like I said no one will ever know the deal and with reputable breeders putting out another story about someone else breeding it really makes it a roller coaster story.

Yeah, i heard the same way back too. I was at icmag when prop started the thread and posted in that thread before shit hit the fan with gypsy, then i deactivated my account under a different handle. My bad bro...you were right...i think...maybe so...i don't know...nobody really knows lol
