Simplest, yet most effective hydro nutes

Easiest to use is probably Dyno Gro 1 part. I used to mix their bloom formula with foliage pro in different ratios throughout flower.

It's a pretty Cannabis specific nutrient and probably the easiest I've ever used in terms of mixing time etc. Very easy to drop nitrogen and ridiculous pH stability. I say that and today I run Mega Crop 2 part, basically a copy of Jacks.

If you live in the states Dyno Gro is also very affordable. I only added small amounts of epsom salt to that mix, not more than 50ppm if I remember correctly. Protekt for potassium silicate.

Dutch master commercial line is easy, clean and complete, I do not add anything extra to the lineup, it has all the goodies. Best part is no bloom boosters, just adjust the 3 part for growth explosion. I use at 2/5 strength and do not change my res (ebb n flow) until end of flower flush, saves tons of time, money and water. I have used a lot of different nutes over the years and to me DM is the best.

I've only done 1 dwc grow, and I used H&G Aqua Flakes A and B, and multizyme. I used it because my buddy that's been growing 20 years or so uses it. He loves it, and grows some fire. I didn't use a chiller, water was around 70 degrees, no root rot issues.
I tried the Jack's, but weighing out such small amounts was a pain. My res only held 5 or 6 gallons, so I was trying to mix small amounts. H&G gave me great smoke, and it was easy to mix. A, B, then MZ.

You can make stock solutions of Jacks Part A & Calnit. For the Jack stock solution - mix 880 grams into 1 gallon of RO or distilled water. Warming up the water will help with dilution. For the calnit stock solution - mix 580 grams into 1 gallon of RO or distilled water. No need to warm up this one. It dilutes readily.

5 ml of each per gallon of water should raise your ppm to 300. So, 10 ml of each gives you 600 ppm. I picked this up from someone here at rollitup (I believe Ichabod Crane) and I’ve used it successfully on many runs. I do not bother with stock solution of epsom but I use it sparingly.

Still curious about those pvc fittings glued to the sides of the Igloo lids... I have my suspicions they could be for a scrog screen.. If I'm right, good news, here's a simpler and much better way to do that.. The Official Dwc Cooler Club - Any Kind of Cooler Res | Page 37 | Rollitup Gotta get back to that thread myself..
Sorry for the late reply. For whatever reason, I didn't get a notification about your post. You are correct though. They are for individual scrogs. I checked out that thread that you recommended and the only thing I did differently, was I attached them directly to the lids. I did that because I wanted to be able to get in and clean the inside of the coolers during a rez change, without disrupting the netting.

Hmmm that's a rather interesting/intriguing method. I might have to give that a shot. Thank you!

Here are a few pics to show it in its entirety. Since I don't place the netting until day 21 of flower, I wanted to be able to raise or lower the netting as necessary. 20210715_205749.jpg20210920_200653.jpg20210920_200707.jpg
