-Simple question about pH pen

This should be very easy, I've been looking on the net for about an hour for a replacement electrode for my pH pen.

It's a -Eutech pH Pro Series 2.

I need a replacement electrode, basically a link to a reputable internet based gardening supply store.

Thanks  :leaf:

Man, common, you think I didn't see that, I went through a couple pages of google.

I live in the USA, not UK.

Anyone know of an online gardening store that I can look through. I don't know which ones are good and when you run a search. Thousands show up. I'm not looking for you to google me an answer, I've tried that. Who have you ordered stuff from?

Some of the e-bay ads are shady, auto generated feedback.

who cares where you live? a probe is a probe man. It's not something they sell soley for NASA. are you saying you have been scammed before? Personally I dont order over the internet but let me check with my local guys. Just because someone says 'yeah they are great' doesnt mean that yeah they are great. Why not just call them and talk to them. what better way to get a feel for how they conduct themselves before ordering. If you have a local hydro guy he should be able to order it for you, no?

Okay, I started this thread yesterday afternoon, I just got the whole post #5 thing.

You think I'm gonna call the UK to ask them some hydro questions.

My local shop wants 65 bucks for a used electrode, which is bullshit, it should be like 40 bucks w/ shipping.

Thanks for the help

no I meant call some in the US. some in UK should have toll free numbers. I agree I wouldnt buy a used anything. I looked for a bit and couldnt find one. would you like me to call my hydro guy and ask him and how much? They are legit and a good shop.

I now doubt that any hydro shop would carry the probe. did you check out www.colepalmer.com? they are located in IL and seem to have a plethora of meters, ect. And they have a toll free #. why not email them to see if they have it.

http://www.eutechinst.com but havent looked at the site yet. I think you will only find this from a supplier servicing scientific and laboratory items.

thank's for the replies, I ended up dealing with the local shop, 50 bucks, and he said it wasn't used, just out of the box. I calibrated it, and it's working. I needed it asap, and it was my only choice.

Problem solved.
