simple grow box question

this is very simple, yet i can't seem to think how to do it. I'm building a grow box out of wood that I want sealed up pretty good for smell containment. I'm not sure how to build access to it. Should i just cut a square in the front and put hinges on it like a door? what did you guys do?

to do a hinge door you need to get a border that the hinged door will rest on so that you can use a foam strip and barrel bolts to make a light seal. im sure there are other ways but this one was the best for me. I space the door a little less than the width of the foam strips that are on the border. the barrel bolts should be snug and be careful because a lot of plywood is warped, it may take multiple barrel bolts or some better material
