I scored a roll of mylar from a homeowner taking down the tenants grow room. Unfortunately he was keeping all the good stuff. But it is silver on one side and gold on the other. Now high school science tells me that a red shirt reflects red and absorbs all the other colors. Does that mean the gold side will reflect more of the yellow/red spectrum and being mylar it should reflect most of the other light as well? Any kind of input will be helpful. Maybe I might need to experiment.
