silly question

Simple answer is NO!

Autoflowers are a cross between the ruderials strain which are autoflowering and a decent strong non autoflowering plant. Unfortunatly what we call auto flowers or Ruderial strains are genetically weak in THC and CBD and hence why we endevour to cross with a stronger non autoflowering strain. Here though the weaker genes and stronger genes are carried forward but we cannot get rid of the fact that we had weak strength plants in the subsequent autoflower cross.

Say we had an autoflower cheese and a normal cheese we would expect the normal cheese to be stronger than the autoflowering cheese. Personally i dont think were gona get THC levels at over 20% anytime soon but there are breeders working on this right now. Feminised started off a bit hit and miss so give it time and im sure we will see some autoflowering strains strong enough to challenge the leading strong non autoflowering strains.

I grew some autoflowers once but found i could finish my normal non auto flowering plants a few weeks quicker so i saw no reason to grow them, a height issue or light issue might be strong enough reason but i will not mess around with them again till future developments make them a little more worthwhile.

Not on average but if you do some research you can find some fairly potent AF strains.
An autoflower crossed with white widow will invariablly be stronger than an autoflower crossed with super skunk but the equivelant non autoflowering strains should always be stronger, give it a few years for the relevant crosses and hybrids to happen and we might be there with autoflowering strains.

Im not bashing them just the autoflower part is from a weak strength plant and always exhibits in the resulting cross, environmental factors and stresses might force evolution to spit out a stronger generation than the parent strain but again time is needed to make these crosses and breed out the weeds. Personally they can only get better in my eyes but they have a long way to go yet till they are the cream of the crop.
