Silica and other good supplements that you use

I have tried a few silica products. If you grow no till or outdoor and have time for silica to break down I would say go with Build A Soils Silica.

If you grow indoor and don’t reuse your medium I would say go with a monosilic acid which is available right away. Silica is best to start from early veg inorder to maximize its effectiveness. The question you want to ask yourself is do I want to have time to amend silica and allow it to break down or use a monosilic acid which is available right away. I use Power Si Veg and Bloom and have had great success.

Other goodies I like to use is King Crab by Plant Revolution and Recharge Microbes from RealGrowers

Have you seen any benefits in terms of trich production or yields or just disease protection? I use it, and my plants don’t get sick, knock on wood, but I‘m not sure I see an obvious benefit beyond that.
I haven't done a side by side comparison, so I would only be speculating. I don't use it past week 4 of flower, so any yield increase or trichome production would simply be the result of the plant's overall health, potentially as a result of the use of Si earlier in the plant's life-cycle.

I just ordered PowerSi veg and bloom. Running it along side Mr fulvic and the ff trio. I've heard very good thing about silica. I'm pretty excited about the PowerSi.

Thanks. What’s the thinking on the 4 week cut off? I know most people stop mid-flower or earlier, but haven’t seen consistent reasons on why.

I don't really want to be smoking buds full of silica is the main reason. It's not necessarily always at week 4, might be closer to week 3 sometimes. Pretty much once the stretch is done.
