Sifting for hash

Hey guys, I'm trying to find the right material to use for sieving dry leafs to make hash, and I read that silk screen works good I think? I went to the fabric store and asked them for silk screen and they had something similar to it, but when I looked at it I can barely see any holes cause it's woven so tight. Are you supposed to physically see the holes with your eyes if you look really hard? What about something like a tight woven cheese cloth? The holes are super small, but able to see if you look closely.
Any other suggestions, or exact names of other materials that I can ask for at the fabric store?

I don't really know how to tell if it's 25 micron.. I live in a small town with one fabric store and I doubt they even know much about what they have. Should I be able to see super tiny holes when I look closely at the material? The type of silk screen (called something else) that they had looked wayyy too tightly woven to let any trichomes through...

Go to a shop that screen prints T-shirts and tell them you need a T-shirt screen for a project. Of course don't tell them what it's for; just say it's for an art project. You'll need a 160 or 220 mesh which they probably have in stock and it should cost you no more than $30.

That sounds like a good idea. I don't know for sure if we have a place that does that in town, but I'll find out. Thanks man!

If you just want to keef it for you own use, just use one of those perminent/metal coffee filters and grind it around in there.... I use like a 200 micron silkscreen and it's just a pia; makes you want to build some kind of shaker to speed it up. And no, you really cant see right through the silkscreen(at least not my eyes!) and it does get some clean white trics...the keef is nice too though, with a bit of green matter still in there.....
Works great in a vape or in a doob......hits real quick!----->>Have fun!

Buy a $20 bubble bag and dry ice it! 150 micron is what I use.

25 micron will yield u next to nothing. Use 160 micron. Buy mesh bags off ebay. And avoid the ones with rubber sides. Get full mesh bags. Do the dry ice shit.
