Sideways (Captain) HOOK Leaves, Help Diagnose

These Champagne clones had some heat stress awhile back, and were treated for spider mites 4 weeks ago, but this hooked leaf is new and I am unsure of the cause. Soil PH is 6.3, heat range is 81-69 (co2 enrichment present), humidity is 50%, and they're under 250w HPS + 168w CFL. Medium is Foxfarm ocean forest lightened with pearlite and vermiculite. Using 50% strength Botanicare Nute lineup. They're 2 weeks into 12/12 now.

I can't seem to find sideways hooking leaves in any online diagnosis... There are a couple of leaves on a couple plants that hook sideways, and not down, as shown below, with the inner side of the hooked leave turning lighter color, maybe from getting 'slinky compressed' as it hooks.....

Any suggestions would be appreciated as to the cause, it doesn't look like the other post heat damage, seen bottom right. And it seems more recent, is this a nutrient toxicity or deficiency I haven't heard about? Let me know, thanks!

Possible, they are clones from an unknown mother, thanks Doc.

Anyone else have any ideas? seen this before? Im thinking maybe nutes or ph but have been unable to find similar cases..

I would guess genetics. i had a plant like that from one of my last grows that had weird genetics and oddly shaped leaf formations. You should be fine.

yes I've had bagseed that sprouted 1 bladed leaves until it died about two months into the entire ordeal.

mutation? bad radioactive soil? haha

I haven't been able to find a source as to why leafs curl like this here is a picture of mine.

I had the leafs curling all the way through till flowering. What I think I pinned it on was leafs forming when it is hot. My temps during this picture were around 85-90, when I got my temps down to about 78 this went away, well I also started flowering then. I don't think it is anything to worry about. Just a defect on the leafs as long as the color is good you should be fine.

Thanks for the replies, I am not entirely sure this is a heat problem, though.

I've read about a couple pest and toxicities and deficiencies that can cause 'distortions' in the leaves which I suspect this is. Perhaps a micro nutrient problem, pest or mold that has infiltrated the plants defenses? Any ideas on this? The lightening of the leaf on the side of the curl is what gets me.
Thanks!

Is the inside of the curl a lighter yellowy color? THis has happened on every jacky white i have grown. I assumed is was a strain thing since none of my other plants do it and they are all fed the same

Late but better than never, it's from giving that plant too many bloom nutes before the plant was sufficiently mature. Just a mutation that is usually caused for only one new set of leaves. It's also caused when plants go through revege.

Sorry for the 8 year late reply.

Served it's purpose, thanks

It is not caused by bloom mutes. It's usually just genetics and how that plant is affected threw a cloning process. I did 12 clones, 6 amnesia and 6 strawberry. Amnesia didn't blade leaf but 3 of the strawberry did but the bladed leaf only grew after the clones exposure to normal room humidity when removed from the cloning tray. It's mostly genetic
