I thought I would update to the problem I had 2 weeks ago,
Well it wasn't magnesium and I think it was Potassium. Too much of it really.
The only thing I changed was the dirt after years of doing exactly the same thing. So I went and read the packaging on Promix and right on he bag it said to watch Phosphorus as to not use more then 10 - 20 ppm. Well I use 20 all the time in the veg stage.
So I decided to do the work and change the soil after 3 1/2 weeks in Veg. I dumped the soil and washed the roots and replanted. I was scared as they had really good root systems already.
But I am glad I did. It has been a week now and I only have lost 5% of the crop. Awesome, and they already look way better. Had to keep them only on 1 light for the week to help them along after major surgery and they are under regular light now and doing good. I am old school when it comes to feeding as it has worked for me for a long time and by changing I think the new stuff is set up for a lot of the newer liquid foods that are out now. High tech stuff.
But that is what it was - the dirt.
To anyone else - don't change the way you do things if they are doing good. They are or can be a temper mental plant.
Also I wanted to ask. On the few that died I noticed that the leaves got really shiny and then they started to die. Anyone know what that was?
Thanks
