So I seen some mold on one of the side colas yesterday and I wasn't sure if it was exactly that so I waited another day then cut it off. There wasn't much mold/budrot in the main bud of the side cola and none of the lower buds had it and I can't seem to find any bold on any of the other buds on the plant. Should I be worried and cut it all down right now or should I just wait to see what happens? I hope it will be fine because I only have 2 more weeks to ago... =[

you cut it off just watch the rest of the plant. odds are your humidity got a little to high at some point which left excess moisture on the bud itself. maybe a slight shading so it wasn't fully drying back out when your lights were on. NO I wouldn't cut the rest down.

i had the samr problem with the 1 of my main colas on a uber kush that i have going,...

im on the 8.5 week mark and today i saw what looked to be bud rot or some kinda mold forming on just the top of the main cola, so i cut the entire cola down and just cut out the part with the rot or mold in it...

The bud was the size of a 24 oz beer can...
RH% is 50-60%
temps are 70-89 degrees

what i dont understand is how does bud rot form on a growing bud ???

50/60% RH during lights on is a tad 2 high.... especially because it will only raise during lights out... any shading or dew during lights on leads to mold... osculating fans help this a bunch with higher humidity levels.

I agree if you just make sure there is some air movement in all areas of the grow.. you will give the buds a better chance to stay dry and not rot .. Bud rot is heart breaking cus it normally hits your denses most beautiful buds first.
