In the words of Timbaland - "It's been a long time......" lol

Well, all systems go! The flower room is pretty much 100% completed, and my 2 PPP and 2 Snow White fems...which were vegged for 7 full weeks and are 15 to 16 inches tall are now under my 400w HPS. I'm really happy with my set up :) :bigjoint:

I'm using just about full strength nutes, about 9-10 gallons of tap water let set out....and flooding for about 7 minutes 3x a day. Right now I don't have enough hydroton (more on the way) so the plants start to tip from the boyancy of the water just about 8 minutes....so I let it go 7 minutes. I don't have a trip-valve....My pump is 400gph so it just fills faster than it drains :). I have the pump on a digital timer, by the way.

Pic 1 - Flower main door
Pic 2 - Poly door entrance ( look at the negative pressure :) )
Pic 3 - Doors wide open
Pic 4 - Close up pic [2 PPP in front, 2 SW in back]
Pic 5 - Temp :)
Pic 6 - Light trap vent, took it out of the veg room..so i'll need another..but it works real nice.
Pic 7 - Room exhaust point
Pic 8 - Carbon filter (air entry point)
Pic 9 - Poly door fixed to folding door when open.
Pic 10 - Attic exhaust set-up
Pic 11 - Flower room fan and exhaust point
Pic 12 - Veg exhaust fan[covered in duct tape] and exit

Notice both exhausts (seperate rooms) vent to a self-made box that has access to a screen directly to the outside air. I know for sure that the air flow is excellent in the flower room...but I'm a tad concerned with some back-flow into the veg room.....right now the veg room is down....I'm going to germ afghan kush and strawberry cough here in a few minutes....but when the veg goes back up I'm going to see how well the vent is working.

Let me know what you think:!:

Nice looking set up man, but I think you could use more duct tape.

What nutes are you running?

Plants look awesome! Be careful though. I vegged my PPP's to 15" and they shot up to 45" in the first two weeks of flower...............

Thanks Bxke :)

AB....are u serious about the duct tape? lol...on what?

I'm using Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Grow....I put about 200 mL in my 9 gallon reservoir.

As for the stretch....I hope it doesn't get that big....I only have a total of like 45" to spare......but if it does stretch that much...I can just hack off a few inches of the table legs :)

LOL! You can NEVER use too much duct tape.....

What is the EC/ppm of your res? pH?

Your plants look so good, you may be cuttin on your table legs. I'll never forget the first day of flower when the lights came on and I saw the bud sites starting to lighten up.... Felt like a WEED BARON!!! :bigjoint:

I don't read the EC/ppm/pH of my solutions (I know, I probably should). Eventually, I probably will get some readings on those.

Yea, I can't wait for the final product! I'm even excited to start germin my quality genetics!

Nice set up, you can never have too much duct tape, lol. I had fem PPP from Nirvana as well. All 10 germinated and were females. Keep on growing.:peace:

Looks good, curious to see what they look like. The only thing not the same is that i will be in soil. I still haven't understood hydro...

Thanks for the comments guys 'n gals :)

Just updating the journal...

*I named my girls tonight....

SW #1 (the runt) - Dumbledwraf
SW #2 - Madam Mim

PPP #1 - Toshiba
PPP #2 - Windy

:joint:

Put some more hydroton in the 36Lx24.5Wx7" planter so the plants are supported and won't tip over....water reaches just about to the bottom of the rockwool cubes..maybe 1/4" into them.

Temperature

I noticed that my temperature is perfect.....max at about 78 degrees during daylight...and I'm thinkin about 65 degrees or so during the night...I've only seen the temps 30 minutes into daylight so far...and it was 68 degrees.

Humidity Level

My humidity seems to hover around 30%...but I've seen it under 30%, at 29. I think this may be a little too low....or is it? I get about 50-55% in the veg room because its less ventilated and there is some standing water in the planter. I just went ahead and put a bowl of water in the flower room to see what happens.

Round 2

I went ahead and germinated 1x World of Seeds Afghan Kush Feminized and 1x Dutch Passion Strawberry Cough Feminized with 2 very damp paper towels folded up many times and inside two very small saucer plates closed together. I just put this on top of my cable box. Seeds cracked and showed nice taproots within 24 hrs - I'd say more than 1/8". They're now in damp 1" rockwool cubes which are under my humidity dome with 1 of the t5 fixtures right on top of it. I misted the inside and its ready to grrooowwwww.

Pic 1 - Windy chillin' in front of the fan
Pic 2 - Pump & Drain lines
Pic 3 - Pump/Drain/Pump Power lines
Pic 4 - Light-trap Vent
Pic 5 - "Bastages" as A-b would say

me neither mafia....me neither! As for hydro....its just non-soil...less mess (usually)...and you don't have to water manually...even tho I guess its certainly posible to use hydroponics with soil containers if you really wanted...but this would mean you're using soil lol.....yea I'm stoned.

Yea I've thought about it......I'm not exactly sure if the 'ends justify the means' if u know what i'm sayin. More money, more hassle, more configuring.....much better buds? Or do I say screw the tank and get something DIY or a paint ball gun co2 tank manually? I dunno.
