here are some pics of a plant. Why is it being so fickle?
leaves are curling ,turning yellow, dying, and repeating process. Lower fan leaves mostly. others are spotting as seen in pictures. I have a two 4 foot long flourescent ecolux tubes and a smaller side light seen in pictures of 15 watts.

any recommendations would be great!

GROWFAQ Hey Z, check out this link for an answer to your problem, but you should transplant that plant to a larger pot, feed right away, 1/4 strength high nitrogen, and see if she perks up. Looks to be ready for flowering too. Good luck. Nim

anything i can do to improve the lighting conditions without buying new lights? are they good enough for the size? can i add reflective material around grow area? If the limbs go limp again like they have done before, whats should i do?

lol a friends plant but you got lights. you guys gonna have to split the quarter you might get? maybe you and your boy(friend) should invest in a more concentrated light. try compact flourescent, 2 ft high output t5, or maybe even some high intensity. best plants ive ever seen by the way................................................................................word

beginner....
I understand but think of a plant as a living thing. They need three basic things:

1.Light
2. Water
3. Air

Now you have to provide the BEST possible of these three things in proper amounts. Think of it this way, Would you want to live in a garage and have someone feed you nothing but ramen noodles and pull their car in every day to choke you on exhaust fumes?
So check out our awesome grow FAQ and figure out how to build an environment more suitable to plants. Good luck bro:bigjoint:
