Sick Plants First time coco

Si ive 5 Orange bud ive been vegging for a good while now , Im Using METROP range of ferts,
Im gonna be switching to flower in a week or so if i can get rid of my problems,
Im Feeding them 1.6 Ec at 5.8 , 5.9 PH, but something is still off with most of the 5 , 1 got huge , 2 are following and 2 are just not willing to get happy.
Now My question is how do i flush coco ? Do i use a light nute solution or just phd tap water? have no acces to ro so these are my only 2 options.
1 problem i noticed on all of the plants is that new growth recently is spindly and thin and just sick looking, im suspecting salt build ups hence why i want to flush.
Ill get picks up once my lights come on.

Ph'ed tap water is find for flushing. If you are trying to get w/e is causing the problem out, you don't want to give it a nutrient solution. It could always be more than what you are thinking, so it's better to be safe and flush it all. As to why some are big and some not is something that we would need to see a pic and go from there. It could honestly be anything.

Thx fort the quick reply , ill get some pics up in an hour or so , although im dreading it cause 2 of these babies look absolutely horriblei feel ashamed and im on the verge of just chucking them
Also i want the flush so i can sort of start off with a clean sheet and go from there,

Good deal. I wouldn't feel ashamed about losing some babies, and I wouldn't chuck them just yet. You're still in veg, so there might still be hope to bring them back to life. I have been given some real shit plants before, and have brought them back just fine.

Nah i wont give up on them, ill post pics before i do anything just ot get some input on what i should do, As i said im completely new to coco, ive got a couple soil grows under the belt but that seemed alot easier to me

Soil is pretty easy to grow in. Coco is a totally different beast, but with time you will understand it better and love it.

Dont get me wrong , i already know im sticking weith coco, had no problems at start and my god were they exploding , just ran into mites and strange worms and then ph problems , anyway ull se in a few mins its gaytime

Ok, so the pics are shit my friend Looks like you did some decent training, so good job on that! What I can see so far is that you could have a bug problem or PM, it's hard to tell. Are you foliar spraying anything because your leaves look waxy. This is a typical indicator of foliar spraying with the lights on.

Yeah i had spider mites and i was spraying smc with lights off. now i have caterpillar worms bud atleast im rid of the mites, the worms dont do enough damage for me to be too worried , i just pick em if i see em. i see them alort less frequent now. oh and my ec meter is banjaxed, tried calibrating yesterday and it couldnt read the value so ive to go to the hydrostore to get it changed, im also in need of new calibration fluid for my ph meter cause im seeing some purple stems and my first guess is that im not getting coirrect readings with my meter. anyways i decided im gonna flower the 3 big ones and lket the 2 smaller sicker plants veg and recover under a 150 hps and ill throwe em in when im happy with their state.
Whats your call on the flush? I gave them a weak mix yesterday and they seem happy today so i think i might not need to flush, cant hurt thou right?
By the way what way do u water ur coco? ive heard many different ways , im currently going by the weight of the pots which is resulting in me watering every 2 days but i heard u should water coco every day, any truth to that?

1.6 ec is too much in veg . I only go to 1.0 in veg and 1.2 -1.4 in flower . Get some calmag and foliar feed for a week every couple of days. Do a run off check . You will find the problem in the runoff

Yeah thing is my ec pen doesnt calibrate itself so i wither have to get a new probe or a new pen, have to go by looks till then, another thing ive been thinking about and cant get my head around. When i check my runoff and get lets say a reading of 1.4 but im pooring in 1.6 do i have an actual value of 1.5? and how do i know what makes up that 1.4 ec ? heres the table of what the company reccomends http://www.metrop.net/kweekschemas/Schema CocoHydro.jpg

PM is Powdery mildew*

Good job on getting rid of the mites, but caterpillars are still a problem. I would get something with Bacillus thuringiensis in it to fight off the caterpillars. Caterpillars will still feed on your plants and lay more eggs continually causing more damage. Something like this would do the trick.

With you Ec meter being "banjaxed" (are you from the UK?), you could have been having ph problems all along too. Purple stems are usually a sign of potassium/phosphorus issues.

As far as flushing goes, I "flush" once a week or about every 10 days. Salts will build up in the coco no matter what if you don't do anything about it. I use "drip clean" by house and garden which definitely helps with salt build-up, but ultimately flushing once a week or so also helps with this. By doing this you can keep salts out majority of the grow so in the end there really isn't a need to do a harvest flush or leach. As a newby you will hear you need to "flush" for about a week or two before harvest, this isn't true. Flushing or leaching are only to remove salts or unwanted nutrients in the case of an emergency, so if you are doing this throughout the grow the salts near harvest will be very minimal. This means you can feed almost up until harvest, creating bigger buds. The dry and cure is where all the magic happens.

Everyone has an opinion about watering. I keep the same base A + B + calmag everytime, then throughout the week i'll add in a few different things. One day it might be the base mix with sweet/hydroplex, the next day it might be the base with some silica/mycorrhizae. I will feed 3-4 days straight with nutes, then just ph'ed water on day 5. Repeat cycle until day 10 and I do a little heavier flush then on day 5. I start at about .6 EC in early veg stage and work up to 1.4/1.5 EC at the end of veg. Once flower starts (depending on strain) I'll go up to 2.9 EC.

As far as telling when to water, you can lift the pots and feel their weight. You can stick a finger inside the coco 4-6 inches, towards the side of the pot. You will be able to feel if it's moist or not. Then water accordingly.

Nah man im irish thing is my mnutes arent a+b+calmag im using metrop and this is their schedule reccomended http://www.metrop.net/kweekschemas/Schema CocoHydro.jpg they also line out what everythings made up of on their site, i had great succes with this in soil giving me doiuble harvest compared to bio ferts grown side by side with clones. So when u say u flush ur using phd tap water?

I'm gonna take a closer look at what nutrients you are using, so my answer can be a little better. I'll get back to you later on that one.
I flush using PH'ed water.

I'm looking at the feeding chart they gave you. Are you feeding mr1 @ 50ml per 100 liters, every feeding?
